Re: 2017 Rd 6 V Titans: Game Day
Noticed Croker was not on late in the game, anyone know if he was injured, or just given a rest? Has niggles (was why Sezar was kicking). Probably would have played on if we'd needed him, but giving others more game time and making sure he doesn't get hurt was more important. Hodgo went off and did...

Re: The reason Laurie Daley will overlook Leilua for Origin
I've also heard some pundits call for JReynolds or Austin to be named at 9 as 80 minute men. Normally I don't think playing players out of position is a good idea, but these guys have proven themselves capable club 9's in the past and we are desperately low on needed stocks. Is this the best option?...

I've got to disagree with you there. I think it will be either Patriots over Packers in a close one, or Wanderers and Melbourne City in a shootout.LP Raider wrote:Swans will win it, I'm detached from sporting events with edit controlling the outcome.

Re: Who do we want to win the GF?
6 weeks ago, if you'd said to me these teams would have been in the GF, I would have been indifferent. But in week 1 of the finals, I witnessed a Cronulla fan (mid 40's) snap the flag of a young Raiders fan (10 or 11) and laugh at him, and I was told to eat a bag of $%^@ and that they hoped I choked...

Yes, he came up with a few crucial drops and looked very overawed and out of place tonight, but lets not be too hard on him. He has been a stalwart of the team all year and has been very important in getting us over the line several times this year. He is still young and inexperienced and that was o...

In 2015, there was all the talk about how many games we lost by 4 points or less. We fixed that in 2016 and won those close games ... exceeding everyone's expectations in the process. Ricky told us last year that was experience and that our team would be stronger this year, and it was. This year we ...

You know what makes this even sweeter? The fact that Milford, Dugan and Ferguson will be at home watching a young Raiders side (average age around 24.7), with 7 Raiders juniors, playing for a spot in the GF against the best side in the comp. If we happen to face the Sharks on GF day, it has to be c...

On the "double knock on" that everyone is still blowing up about it. Moylan knocked on, clear as day for the first knock on, then Austin knocked on, so no advantage. Moylan stripped the ball (one-on-one so no issues there), but he raked it out towards the Raiders line. As a strip counts as...

Croker took responsiblity for Eddies drop. He tried to pass long to Papa when a popped ball to Eddie was all that was required. This was pretty much game set and match... or at least thats how it felt. That said, Baptiste non-pass was worse. Could have hit any 1 of about 6 blokes to his right and w...

If L Croker is deemed unready for 1st grade, then I would play Williams at 7, Wighton at 6 and Waqa at 1.
If Stick thinks he's ready, he plays 6, Williams plays 7.
Only change from last week.

Mccrone trying too hard. It was 3rd tackle, stop pushing unnecessary and dangerous offloads

The closest explanation I can come up with is that the refs realised they got the FPN pass wrong and cost us an almost certain try, the video ref saw the blatant shepard that happened earlier in the set and awarded the "no try" as an attempt at square up, but the only thing they could come...

You're genuinely taking the **** right? Croker had no chance today, none of our back line did. Williams had a woeful kicking performance today, which he compounded in the second half by taking Josh McCrone over-trying lessons. That gave our wings and centres no chance with poor 5th play options. As ...

Thurston not even charged by match review committee. ******* joke. If it had been a big name like Slater being taken out, and a no-name making the tackle, they'd be rubbed out for a month.

i have been noticing something interesting of late. Dugan, Slater, and RTS (fullbacks for 3 of the besf defensive teams) all defend the first 4 tackles in the line before dropping back. why dont we do this? it would help reinforce the centre and help us spread wider, and with wighton, lee, amd toots...

He will be welcomed addition next year, tough as nails for a half and has a win at all cost attitude. I like Williams but Sezer and Austin next year will see an improvement. This week, win lose or draw, Stick needs to walk in, sit down and say
"The refereeing this season is ******* atrocious, there's my $10K fine, so I've saved myself $10K this week and got that question out of the way. What's next?"
