Exactly where it needed to be except Sivo the washed up bum wasn’t where he’s supposed to be
Wonder what play Sivo was expecting. There's nothing other than a deep triple cut out to the winger that has him in the right position.

Re: Raiders player signing speculation 2024

Fuller is interesting, because it's directly related to how much we rate Chevy. Are we going all in on him? Or do we want to create competition in the fullback position? I doubt Chevy will be able to do what Fuller is doing now, by next year. Although that would be lovely of course. And surely Full...

Re: Raiders player signing speculation 2024

On current form Trai Fuller would be good competition and it's not a signing that tells Chevy his path is blocked. 28 next year so he's got a lot of experience playing against men (but not as much as you'd expect for 28).

Sua Fa'alogo is locked up till 2028.

Re: Raiders player signing speculation 2024

JMK is a good solid option for us. You can relax and develop what is coming next if you sign him without having problems at hooker every week. I'd be fine with Cook for a couple too. At least he cleans up the defence. What we need to see in the second half of cup season are Trevilyan's minutes incre...

Melbourne Victory have won a penalty shoot out over Melbourne City with Goal Keeper Paul Izzo the hero, saving 3 and scoring one penalty shot to add to a brilliant game in both normal and extra time. Melbourne Victory had Zinedine Machach red carded in the 37th minute but they battled on to level t...

Much rougher night for Fuller. Really struggled under the high ball.

I love having him off the bench at this point of his career. If you haven't watched it, take a look at the video of the team song after the game. He's in the thick of it, with the rest of the young guys. I simply can't imagine him going anywhere. That's a man that dominates the dance floor as much ...

Good to see them still putting on a show with so many out.
I hope they're considering a contract for Cook. Could be very handy to have around as depth if Weekes wants to chase a bigger role, or fog decides to sign elsewhere.

Re: 2024 Round 11 v Bulldogs: Teams and Previews

The fullback spot will be really interesting. Based on Sticky's comments Rapa will definitely be ready, but I thought based on his comments on resting Chevy that he was fully intending to bring him back as fullback, but with Cotric being outstanding last night, it leaves a real headache. 1. Chevy 2...

Youngest spine and backline we've ever played last week. Mountains of experience leaving us at year's end. Trouble recruiting established stars. Only serious teams trade their best forward.

Re: Eels half Ethan Sanders agrees to terms with Raiders for three year deal from 2025

Sanders already does most things better than Fog. His kicking is still a fair way off though. Having both in the side makes a lot of sense to me, assuming Sanders defense improves as you'd expect. Problem is you have to move Strange, but he would be a gun anywhere I reckon. Ricky's Sebastian sense ...

This is all obviously a touch early but I'd see it first up as: Firsts: 1. Chevy 6. Strange 7. Fog Reserves: 6. Weekes 7. Sanders Given how Chevy has been rested for 2 weeks already we might see another year of him playing 4-5 weeks and then having a make-shift fullback come in. Daine Laurie is off ...
