Re: Our Backline Defence
Lee and Hawkins shouldn't be playing first grade at this stage whether it be wing or centre. They look so lethargic and show zero energy on field that they practically invite traffic there way. Wighton is good full back, but I think out strongest side would look a little better with him back at cent...

Re: Croker surpasses 800 career points
Great effort. This guy seriously reminds me of Clinton Schifcofske. Has really stepped up in defence, elusive runner, great under the high ball, great goal kicker and a potential great leader. I'm pretty confident he would be our best fullback option if he was given the opportunity. Would love to se...

Can't help to think that this is a piss poor attempt by a bunch of highly paid and under-performing senior players to earn a reprieve from the **** they've put on field this season. No doubt Furner couldn't get the best out of the squad but you can't blame him for some of rugby league basics missing...

Most of Milford's tries or moments of brilliance have come from him sniffing around the halves. Sure he has potential however I honestly haven't seen anything from him either in the air, in defence or during kick returns that would have him in front of Robbo. If anything, Robbo would be on with Mil...

Has Robbo really been that bad? At worst he's been solid at the back with moments of brilliance. Can't say he's ever cost us a game.

Even with Wighton, Lee and Earl all fit you can pretty much bank on Robbo holding his spot. Unless he hits a very bad patch of form, or costs us a game, he starts.
I'd even go as far as to say he'll be back in the #1 with Milf back on the bench once all troops are available again.

He's signed here until 2014 so long as the clauses aren't in his favour I don't care how homesick he is. We took the hardline with Williams and we will here He has a get out clause in his existing contract linked to family illness. His father had a heart attack not too long ago and is apparently no...

I'm actually with billyt on this one. Can't see how Furner would replace Robbo with Lee or Earl unless he hits an extremely bad patch of form. Don't underestimate how critical it is to have a decent winger who is also a gun fullback readily available if Milford needs to make emergency move to the ha...

Campo off the bench for the first couple of weeks and then will start to replace the lesser performing out of McCrone or Williams. Simple.

There were some pretty basic skills missing from Saturdays effort - something that players earning an average of 150k and playing in the premier rugby league competition should've mastered by the time they finished up at under 10's.

Pelo hasn't done anything special in his two games but he also hasn't done much wrong. Williams had to go. Simple as that. There could have been another 20 points in it for the tigers if he was defending on that left edge. Agree that Berrigan should have started and possibly played the 80 minutes. T...

Anyone else here think that Dugan could have a bigger impact for the team by supporting McCrone in the halves? As damaging as he is at fullback he just seems to play better when he is more involved and up in the line, as was evident against the Eels. He has a decent passing and kicking game, is powe...

Joel Thompson should be defending in the centres. Push Croker in a position or two to stop him making stupid reads. He can move back out to the centres in attack.

I really liked watching Robbo trail our forwards looking for that second phase play. Although he didn't get much of that today there is no doubt he will prove to be a weapon if we can get those offloads going. Completely different to Dugan who spends more time a little wider as an option playmaker -...
