Re: 2024 Round 11 v Bulldogs: Game Day

360 has got even worse this year. It used to at least discuss broader issues across the teams and across the game. Now it’s just talking about whatever is happening with the big teams and whatever is in today’s and tomorrow’s newspapers. The worst bit is they now discuss for example, a south Sydney ...

Re: 2024 Round 11 v Bulldogs: Game Day

Phil Gould certainly has an incredible ability to sell the Bulldogs to a young half and paint them a picture of what and where they can be in their career going forward and sign them to a contract. He’s a master operator. I doubt he highlights how quickly they could be spat out if they don’t perform...

Re: 2024 Round 11 v Bulldogs: Game Day

I admittedly have never listened to Alan Tongue and made some assumptions there, interesting to know he's gone over the top the other way but you get the point... you don't expect to get a lot of neutrality from people in the media who have a clear attachment to a club. Id like to think a guy like ...

Re: 2024 Round 11 v Bulldogs: Game Day

James Graham on NRL360 talked about how we got 2 lucky tries, no mention of the great tackle that caused one but also failed to highlight the Dogs got tries whilst we were down men and then didn't score another point when we were at full compliment. He played the majority of his NRL career at the d...

2024 Round 11 v Bulldogs: Game Day

If that’s Annesley’s definition of a hip drop and what the NRL is looking for, then I’m OK with that. I think he made some logical points that I can accept his ruling. But let’s hope Annesley and NRL decision makers are consistent on this interpretation going forward. We’ve all seen Annesley draw a ...

2024 Round 11 v Bulldogs: Game Day

Geez it was nice to get up and beat 2024 Premiership favourites Canterbury Bulldogs. Well a few here people last season had them as the club to go to for a shot at a Premiership this year. Also a few claimed that Raiders should have instead signed Hutchison, Blake Taafe and Connor Tracey. We don’t ...

Yep I think he’s eyeing off Papa’s spot long term.

Our club is on the rise and if these young players kick on, who knows where we could be in a couple of years.

If I was a fringe hooker I’d be looking to try and nab a roster spot behind our forward pack.

Even in old games Savage wasn’t lacking in effort, just application. He’d get rag dolled a bit and fall off tackles, but he was always trying hard. He’s improved in both areas since 2022. He’s had a moment or two this year where he lacked a bit of urgency covering a kick or stopping a 40/20, but I ...

Yep he took the right option. It was the threat out wide that opened up the short ball.

Going wide would have given the defence a chance to scramble.

The more I’ve looked at the Brian Kelly no try for Titans I can’t see a point where the ball has ‘definitely’ come away from the hand and that it’s clear that the bunker can overrule the on field referees call. My thoughts yesterday was no try, but I’m starting to waver. Yes the ball bobbled away fr...

Corey Parker is the dumbest commentator. Discuss. He just can’t back up his statements with valid arguments or insightful points on the play. I watched this again last night and it was the head contact with Kaeo Weekes that caused him to lose his legs - was quite obvious upon review imo. Add on he didn’t put his body weight on the players leg, I think they should fight it. I’d support fighting it to reduce to a grade 1. There were a numb...

Surely Kikau and Preston deserved lowest grade fine charges.

Preston connected Whitehead flush on the jaw with an upward moving shoulder. That’s a key element they look for.

The judiciary is a complete lottery sometimes. That Morgan Smithies charge last week was absolutely ridiculous.
