Re: 2024 Round 11 v Bulldogs: Game Day
Interesting the ABC radio commentators banging on that Papa shouldn’t have been sin binned for his tackle. Penalty yes, but definitely not sin bin. They talked about it for a while. I said in the game that I thought that Papa collecting his own player was mitigating circumstances. But if they start...

He is a really good player. I like his composure and speed. I wouldn’t mind seeing how he goes at hooker when Fogarty gets back, given that’s what he was doing at manly. He has a great temperament for a half doesn’t seem flustered or bothered by his mistakes Probably a better fit as a FB but bench ...

Corey Parker correctly calls a Manly forward pass. He remains unable to ever see a Broncos forward pass on the other hand.

The very Corey Parker who’s called out Raiders players who rush out of the line and make a non arm wrapping tackle, saying the person rushing out like that has to be responsible for their actions.
Suddenly a Brisbane player does it and he deems it not even worthy of a penalty.

Hahaha... **** I love / hate this team. Strange is a special talent. So many special moments. Nice work from Mooney when he came on too. I could be mistaken but it looked like he made three hitups in one set? Good game from X as well. Congratulations to the team and Ricky. I don't often rewatch gam...

Bulldogs are truly horrendous Your mate Levi is truly horrendous. Another 7 missed tackles in 50 god damn minutes and made some absolutely disgraceful passes out there. Honestly. So many deserving players. 2 Strange 1 Whitehead 1 Savage 1 Weekes 1 Hudson Special mention Trey Mooney for the spark off the bench and Levi for good first half service that kept catching them out on the blind side and also pressuring the Bulldogs halves by getting up in their faces very quickly. Ev...

Whitehead, Savage, Taps and Strange have been our best.
I thought Levi’s service has been pretty good and I noted he created space a few times around the ruck with some good turning the ball back through the ruck.

Re: 2024 Round 11 v Bulldogs: Game Day
Plenty of hip drops don’t lead to a sin binning, so I thought Papa colliding with and collecting Weekes in the process of the tackle might have seen a penalty only, but it certainly wasn’t the wrong decision by the ref either.

Rugby League 2024
That sounds like a terrible story emerging.
Let’s hope high profile means high profile, not someone who’s never played at a representative level.
The media often refers to “NRL player charged by police” and it’s a jersey flegg player for Bulldogs who drove without a licence, etc.

In all seriousness, good on Fifita for telling the Roosters about his pre marriage jitters.

I’m on the fence with the extension, I see a lot of negatives, but I also think the young guys coming through have bought into what Ricky is selling.
But I sure as hell hope there some performance measures in the contract that he has to meet over the period.

Woolford should move on…. Looks like he will not get another run here…. Now I’ve repeatedly called for Woolford to be in our 17 this season. Such a poor home crowd for the Roosters at such an amazing new stadium against a good team.
I’m still amazed that rebuilding the old SFS was a higher priority than other stadiums across Sydney.

Well that’s a very soft sin bin. A blatant trip in the Tigers Knights game only was awarded a penalty.
