Re: Charges against Latrell Mitchell and Jack Wighton dropped
"We do seem to have a situation here where evidence was brought forward by the defence that was not provided to the prosecution," Attorney-General Shane Rattenbury said on Thursday. "We need to get to the bottom of how and why that occurred." The prosecution never bothered to ge...

8. and a handover will be ordered when a player does not make a genuine attempt to play the ball correctly with their foot I love this one. They should extend it to when players don't play the ball on the mark as well. A penalty was always too harsh, so refs would just ignore the infringement. This...

How is that religious freedom bill going to work? If I claim my views are religious (no matter what they are), am I protected? Or is it only state approved religions that are applicable? So it takes MORE work for them if it's set to auto renew? (eg, they have to send multiple warnings and call people to make sure they are aware of it?!?) That just seems so inefficient. Wouldn't be much easier to give you a tick box that lets you opt in to auto-renew, so they can be comfortable every...

I just renewed. Geez, I don't like the forced "auto-renewal" term and condition. I now have to make an extra phone call to HQ, to stop them taking money from me in September, when they could have just given me a tick box on the website if I wanted to setup auto renewal. I don't know why th...

Just on playing to the whistle... Last night there was a play where the Cronulla player was clearly held but got up and kept on running. At the point the player kept on running, there was no whistle but Paps let him run past and kept the mark. Should Paps be crucified for this? There was no whistle ...

Yeah, looks like the NRL are setting up the touchie to be the fall guy.
But this is as much on the ref. When the flag goes up he has to stop play (according to the rule book)

Re: Playing the whistle
The touch judge is only allowed to raise his flag when the ball goes out.
He clearly raised his flag... so regardless of whether or not it went out, he made the signal (which can’t be overturned by the ref) that the ball was out.

I don't believe that religious belief is a legitimate reason to justify infringing on others rights. I respect that I can't force a minister to recognize a gay couples marriage (nor do I want to), because that would infringe on the ministers rights. Live and let live. Two men being recognized by the...

I for one would vote 'NO' if all gay partners were forced into marriage. But that's not the case.
The fact that this couple doesn't want to get married shouldn't impact the couples that do.

Bay,
If there was a vote to allow Catholics the lawful right to the sacrament of communion, I would vote yes.
That's because it doesn't effect me, and banning it would cause distress to people for no reason.
