To me, the Williams acquisition is more a reflection on his opinion of McCrone in the halves than Cornish

He played right centre in the last few games of 2014, Ed And looked pretty good there too Makes sense - I had stopped paying much attention by then. Keen to see how he goes if given the chance for game one - big fan of Edrick. Having ed lee at centre would also allow us to pick a better kick return...

I also think seeing the back of Milf will be great for our attack moving forward.Granted, he was a freak... but I think our players over relied on him to create something whenever he had the ball and made us a bit of a one trick pony.

I have toots and Rapana because I much prefer deadly on the wing. Hawkins probably is the safer defender (like alwood last year) and brenko has potential to be a better attacker but for round one I think Rapana due to his all round ability. Mccrone will probably get the #14 based on his 'efforts' in preseason (not previous form, more bucket hats and jokes)... then he'll hopefully lose it to Baptiste when Stick sees his mistake in around round 3-4 ....

Contracts can be great motivators.... To me, he seems to display more natural leadership than a lot of the other contenders.

I'd give first shot to Toots and make Shillo co captain or forwards captain. Reason for this is I'm expecting Shillo to have a BIG year in that he will be playing for a contract with someone else in 2016.

wouldn't there be the same issue if centres were picked before Wings and fullback?

If we were to chose our BEST centres first, I'd have Jacko and Toots (as would many I believe) meaning Eddie would still only be an option for wing realistically.

I watched Josh's game v Hull FC on you tube lastnight (the first half anyway)... I know it's only Super league but he was carving up! Exactly what we need! hopefully his form translates to NRL :) Hull KR would have torn us a new one on Sunday. (on a side note cant believe how packed the stadium was)...
