He was typical McCrone. Did some good things, did some dumb things.

As per usual, his game was riddled with McCronyisms.
But yes, one of his better games of the year... which given his level of performance today, is a huge problem

A lot of bad. He actually balanced it out with a few good things for the first time in quite a while.

The balance was still firmly in the negative column though.

Disagree, but I might have been blinded by vision of him being caught with the **** ball on the last tackle for 400 **** time.

Seriously, Josh, it's beyond taking the piss now - please stop wasting opportunities when inside the 20 on the last - you're killing me.

I disagree, the only good thing he did was backup to score

True, but by my count that is only twice since McCrone returned to the halves that Campo has played better than McCrone, which tells a much more depressing story.

I've not joined the McCrone bashing this season, but I completely disagree with you. I thought with the forwards rolling early it should have been an easy payday for our halves. Somehow, they still managed to look slow and clumsy.

Son, we live in a world that has forums, and those forums have to be guarded by Mods. Who's gonna do it? You? You, Nickman? I have a greater responsibility than you can possibly fathom. You weep for Lucy, and you curse GE. You have that luxury. You have the luxury of not knowing what I know -- that GE’s moderation, while tragic, probably saved lives; and my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, keeps threads on track and under the appropriately sized, highlighted green headings.
You want moderation because deep down in places you don't talk about at parties, you want me on that forum -- you need me on that forum. We use words like "stay on topic," "use the appropriate forum," "please delete." We use these words as the backbone of a life spent defending something. You use them as a punch line. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very moderation that I provide and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather that you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise, I suggest you get a green handle and edit a post. Either way, I don't give a DAMN what you think about moderation.

I'm not sure what game you were watching?

1.) extremely poor kicking game
2.) extremely poor running game
3.) typical McCrone passing game

There were a few good moments, but that doesn't count as a good game.mi said it in the game thread, but McCrone is one of the best at killing the momentum in this team.

I forgot to add, we only had what, like 21 missed tackles today. Number 1 offender? McCrone...

I thought he was ordinary.
The spiral of silence refers to the idea that when people fail to speak, the price of speaking rises. As the price to speak rises, still fewer speak out, which further causes the price to rise, so that fewer people yet will speak out, until a whole culture or nation is silenced. This is what happened in Germany.

If you do not speak, you are not being neutral, but are contributing to the success of the thing you refuse to name and condemn.

He was horrible when the game was in the balance and good when we had the titans beaten with 15 or so to go.

To be fair it should have been a reset of the tackle count.... However he should have also played to the whistle and looked at the refs which I'm assuming didn't signal six again, HOWEVER I have seen wide shots in other games where one ref will call one thing, one will say something else so it's difficult sometimes... Also in the current rules it's not so bad to be caught on the sixth near their line, better then giving them 7 tackles from the 20.

However, no his game was bleh.... Did some utterly **** things, did some good things, at best it evens out to an OK game but you need more than OK games from your #7....

Saying McCrone played well today is like saying to a cruise liner captain who arrives safely at port in perfect conditions "congrats and well done. You didnt sink the ship. Bravo" :|

He kills us in so many ways. Dying with the ball , intercepts , a missed tackled and failed to chase on Taylor. Poor options and poor passes.

Positives , he plays with energy and um , yeah

Given the game was in the balance, if the Titans had taken that intercept and scored the game may have swung a different way

typical mccrone game

This. It would have killed momentum. Also his miss/non-attempt on Taylor (although at least that showed us campos chase).
