I am going to miss seeing Sam passing to big Papa, seems to work an absolute treat anywhere on the field.
Re: The run home
Warriors, Storm, Dogs, and Bunnies in that order.Junior wrote:Can someone answer me with the teams to watch/pray to lose games
If they lose their remaining games against the top 3, then we can still finish 4th even if we lose to the Cowboys......as long as we don't get flogged.

I predict us coming 7th/8th, beating Cronulla, Tigers, Eagles, Titans, Panthers (Home), and Eels.
I predict either the Tigers or Newcastle running last.

Penrith will be hard.
Titans - they have a lot of injuries. At full strength they will be tough.
Re: The run home
Maybe 8th on for and against. It'll be bloody tight though
Son, we live in a world that has forums, and those forums have to be guarded by Mods. Who's gonna do it? You? You, Nickman? I have a greater responsibility than you can possibly fathom. You weep for Lucy, and you curse GE. You have that luxury. You have the luxury of not knowing what I know -- that GE’s moderation, while tragic, probably saved lives; and my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, keeps threads on track and under the appropriately sized, highlighted green headings.
You want moderation because deep down in places you don't talk about at parties, you want me on that forum -- you need me on that forum. We use words like "stay on topic," "use the appropriate forum," "please delete." We use these words as the backbone of a life spent defending something. You use them as a punch line. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very moderation that I provide and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather that you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise, I suggest you get a green handle and edit a post. Either way, I don't give a DAMN what you think about moderation.

Manly are playing outstanding footy at the moment...they will be very very tough where ever we play themroneel78 wrote:Manly will be easier at GIO rather than Brookie.Raiders666 wrote:I can't see us beating panthers or manly to be honestMakaveli wrote:http://www.nrl.com/DrawResults/TelstraP ... fault.aspx

Re: The run home
Penrith and Manly have the two worst road records in the comp
Re: The run home
We'd probably have the worst home record though, so it kind of evens out
Re: The run home
Equal with Titans and Tigers
Re: The run home
By the last few rounds a few teams will already be thinking about mad monday. Hopefully we arent one of them and it makes things a bit easier.

True, but they are looking good. I still think if u can beat them up the middle they will wilt. Thier pack is their weakness.Raidersrawesome wrote:Hard to gauge atm. Titans were diabolical.Matt wrote:Manly starting to look good... dammit!

Re: The run home
I still dont rate manly - their pack is NSW cup material. they have a great backline and played the worst squad to ever play this season in the titans without Sezer, Elgy, Mosely and Bird.

I always rate Manly. They are similar to Melbourne in that an average player is made to look far better in that team.

Re: The run home
Manly forward pack is their weakness
But if they can go close to matching other teams there , their backkine should be able to click.
I dont think its too hard to dominate them up front, if you do that then their backline has little time and space

Re: The run home
Panthers are a bit of a wild card. It will depend on how many troops they get back. I'm not as worried for our 1st game, but they will be close to full strength by the 2nd one.IronRaiden wrote:I still think my 7 from 9 can be achieved. This is what we have left and my predictions.

Which means they'll be pretty much full strength the second time we play em. That will be a distinctly more difficult proposition.
