Fensom was just under 1 a game last yr (21 penalties in 23 games, he had 1 last week.).
Soliola had 4 this week, and spent some time at lock last week, prob'ly 20-25mins while Fenno was off.

There's no way Gagai can do any worse at fullback than Feeney has the first 2 weeks.
well, I guess you could say that I'm buy curious.

Dane Gagai trained at fullback today. From what Nathan Brown said afterwards, seems likely he'll start there. Full details tonight @nbnnews
This has the same issues as Fergie at FB.
That said, I think its good for us.

Absolutely. I feel for Feeney, because he's been hungry around the ruck, particularly in the first week, but he gassed himself doing it and was never in good enough positions to capitalise on anything.

Gagai will do much, much better than Feeney did.

Canberra Raiders Kurt Baptiste relishing more minutes

Raiders hooker Kurt Baptiste may force his way into the starting line-up this weekend as the club’s injury toll worsens.

“[In] the last two games, the halves have got injured early and I’ve had to come on there earlier than I’d expect, but it was good to get more minutes,” said Baptiste.

“We’ve worked through the preseason with all those halves so it’s not too hard for me to get out there. I’ve trained with them all preseason. Those halves work well together and I just work off the back of them.”

This game is making me nervous.
In years gone by we would lose this, hopefully this year's team are up to the challenge of the easybeats

If I was the bank I'd just about grant a mortgage to Soliola for any jersey and as many minutes as he wants.

He has done just about nothing wrong in a green jersey in my books.

Fensom, Croker cleared of serious injury

Canberra's Shaun Fensom and Lachlan Croker are expected to be available for Saturday's NRL clash with Newcastle despite suffering injuries in round two.

Fensom was forced off with concussion just one minute into their win over Sydney Roosters at GIO Stadium on Saturday, while Croker went down with a hurt shoulder on debut late in the second half.

The Raiders confirmed on Tuesday both were expected to be up for selection for this week's match against the Knights at Hunter Stadium.

If this team wants to be recognised and acknowledged as a top 8 dare I say top 4 they need to win this game. In the past this is the type of game they would lose. Then be laughed off as a top 8 team

Anyone else watch L. Croker's interview after the game?
Very genuine answers and much better then the usual same old. The interviewers always answers the question and the players just repeat it.

Cloker (new name) really does come across as more mature then 19.
You could see how badly he wants to be there round 3.

Last year we would win against the lower teams but only close games. In the years before that we could beat the better teams on our day and then lose to the worst teams.
