Hodgson signs with Raiders

Yeah, I hope he goes well. ESL players face a tough battle to succeed in the NRL. Burgess and Tomkins took some adjusting, and they are more talented than young Josh.

I'm looking forward to seeing how he goes, but I won't expect much at first. Hope he develops in to a top class hooker.

The biggest thing will be minutes and I have no problem with carrying a bench hooker/utility so he should be ok.
Can't wait to have our own inaudible Sam burgess sounding pommy for interviewing

I Agree cj42 backup of buttris and Baptiste will help him settle into nrl. Sounds like he could be a real goer. He might struggle but I reckon there is a 25% chance he could prove really good.

I hope he flies over for the full pre season. Fitness and the pace of the game will likely be his issue to begin with. Will be very interesting to see how he goes in the trials next year.

Can't see why he wouldn't. This weekends game should see Williams and Hodgson in action against each other. Should be a good game even though Hull can't make the 8.
