When did they become back of jersey sponsors?

There was literally no annoucement for what is one of the prime pieces of real estate on the jersey.

Ben's answer to the question I omitted:

6. When did McDonalds come on board as a jersey sponsor, and why wasn't there an announcement?

McDonalds have been a long time sponsor of the club and due to a change in Huawei's sponsorship, the property on the back of the jersey opened up so they decided to take it. It was the same situation with Austbrokers being on the Nines jersey.

Due to the timing of the decision we couldn't get them on the retail jerseys in time as they were already in production. The retail range is signed off on earlier in the year and the jerseys were already made when McDonalds signed on for their new partnership.

Their appearance on the jersey is just an extension of their current deal with the club, so there was no need to make a formal announcement.

+1 for this. It's only a small thing but please pass along this feedback. I don't know if pride is the right word but it made me feel 'good' (for lack of anything better) seeing them do it.

Ben has very helpfully answered some extra questions this week. Thanks to him for taking the time.

1. Why are the Raiders running out to Highway to Hell, and more importantly when it will stop and go back to being the Green Machine?!

2. I like the song change and would also like us to change it to the Vikings theme song.

3. What's the idea behind the team running out as one and is it going to be a permanent feature? I like it and hope they run out as one again.

Understand this has been a hot topic of discussion, but the club has already addressed this at http://www.raiders.com.au/content/raide ... raide.html

I don't have anything else I can say on it. As mentioned, the Green Machine song will still remain for pre-game during team line-ups and as a victory song when we win. It's still very much a part of the club.

Question two is more of a statement, so not sure how to answer that one. Appreciate the feedback. Vikings is a great show!

Final Question. This is part of the overall changes mentioned above. The team decided to run out as one this year.

Are there any plans to do another Raiders Pink Jersey? I've finally got my other half on board supporting the Raiders, but she's adamant green isn't her colour.

I've been looking around for the old pink jersey, but have had no luck.

Will there be another pink jersey or have I left my run too late?

I think it's a shame is gone. And worse these days when it is sung people barely can or want to sing it.
