Best of luck to them.
They'll have 20,000+ to fight against as they are spread throughout the stadium

Should also start with a slow 5 sec gap
.. therefore clap/whoo 5sec gap clap/whoo 5 sec gap clap/whoo

It's more of a "oooh" that we need to do. We started doing it at the end of the last one.
Hopefully Sharks fans aren't as loud as they were here earlier in the year. That song does my head in
Guys, the NRL run this event. You'll be lucky if they show the score on the scoreboard.
Gina Riley: Oh, come on, John. That’s a bit old hat, the corrupt IOC delegate. John Clarke: Old hat? Gina, in the scientific world when they see that something is happening again and again and again, repeatedly, they don’t call it old hat. They call it a pattern.

Will be happy to perform 'Oh Susanna' on my harmonica for half time entertainment. Will be wearing a wife beater and stopping a few times to take a swill from me longy.
The spiral of silence refers to the idea that when people fail to speak, the price of speaking rises. As the price to speak rises, still fewer speak out, which further causes the price to rise, so that fewer people yet will speak out, until a whole culture or nation is silenced. This is what happened in Germany.
If you do not speak, you are not being neutral, but are contributing to the success of the thing you refuse to name and condemn.

Hopeless. I can't stand the announcements at the ground, they're embarassing. Telling the crowd when to get loud (regularly) or even worse, letting the opposition know there's only 30 seconds left for them to scramble and defend.
He's seems like a reasonable guy but he is hopeless at that job. Deadset rubbish.
We continue to **** about with blokes that are part of some fraternity. It's infuriating.
Dont know what you want from him then. I agree that he should be quiet throughout the viking clap but encouraging unified crowd support is pretty much his job. Whats worse than him was the absolute punish i had sitting behind me at the eels game that kept whinging about him and responding to his raiders chants by yelling shut up and thinking he was hilarious.

They'll prob out shout us mate yea
Careful Robert
Your insecurities are showing again
The Viking clap with this many people would be best utilised as the opposition goal kicker lines up, IMO. Obviously it couldn't be Raider sanctioned or run, but I would imagine 20000 people shouting and then silence for 3 secs and repeat would put a slither of doubt in someone's mind.
"A hex on your house, and more importantly your health"
"I truly hope the spirit of my mate gives you hell, you deserve it"
Id love to have the crowd genuinely cheer the refs onto the field. Would imagine itd be a nice change for them and result in them being at least 1% more favourable towards us
I'm up the clap, love it, but we need to get the grunt/huh/ungggh/wooo thing down. Has to be guttural, has to build , needs a drum and co-ordination. Blake Austin's not doing much on Saturday is he? He's got the look, get him a drum.
