We needed that
The spiral of silence refers to the idea that when people fail to speak, the price of speaking rises. As the price to speak rises, still fewer speak out, which further causes the price to rise, so that fewer people yet will speak out, until a whole culture or nation is silenced. This is what happened in Germany.

If you do not speak, you are not being neutral, but are contributing to the success of the thing you refuse to name and condemn.

31st min TRY RAIDERS to Jordan Rapana. Great break Timoko to set it up. Then Hosking gets the ball away to Rapana right on the goal line. Fogarty converts.

Got a feeling goal kicking will be important today. It feels like a 36-34 kind of day.

Savage great example of speed forcing the defence into making decisions and creating opportunities for others.

Too much passing before the line there, ran themselves out of room
Kris or Strange needed to come off the left foot and take them on

WOW!!!
Gina Riley: Oh, come on, John. That’s a bit old hat, the corrupt IOC delegate.
John Clarke: Old hat? Gina, in the scientific world when they see that something is happening again and again and again, repeatedly, they don’t call it old hat. They call it a pattern.

Eyes up footy. I love it

A few lucky moments for us, but the ref is letting them lie all over us
The spiral of silence refers to the idea that when people fail to speak, the price of speaking rises. As the price to speak rises, still fewer speak out, which further causes the price to rise, so that fewer people yet will speak out, until a whole culture or nation is silenced. This is what happened in Germany.
