What was Hynes doing in defence there?
Gina Riley: Oh, come on, John. That’s a bit old hat, the corrupt IOC delegate.
John Clarke: Old hat? Gina, in the scientific world when they see that something is happening again and again and again, repeatedly, they don’t call it old hat. They call it a pattern.

Savage looking really good. We have the pace now. Nice try
Keep it going, punch it up the middle, target Hynes, then spread it wide

They are killing them on our left.
Atrocious defence though. All over the shop.

17th min ERROR SHARKS, Ramien the offender, giving the Raiders a scrum feed 10 metres out.
TRY RAIDERS to Xavier Savage. First play off the scrum win, he steps to the left, then the right and he's in a huge hole. Fogarty converts, reasonably easy kick.
Raiders 12-0

X is on fire, you can tell he’s playing with a lot of confidence
Re: 2024 Round 4 v Sharks: Game Day
We're seeing fantastic examples of why Hoppa should not come back into this team. Savage and Schiller showing what NRL wingers actually look like

Travesty that Savage spent all of 2023 in reserve grade.

So if Hopoate got the ball in both of those situations it would still be 0-0.

Blocker shut up
The spiral of silence refers to the idea that when people fail to speak, the price of speaking rises. As the price to speak rises, still fewer speak out, which further causes the price to rise, so that fewer people yet will speak out, until a whole culture or nation is silenced. This is what happened in Germany.
If you do not speak, you are not being neutral, but are contributing to the success of the thing you refuse to name and condemn.

20th min ERROR RAIDERS from Jordan Rapana, knock on trying to stop a 40/20 kick. Gives the Sharks a red zone chance. The set ends with the Sharks throwing the ball away, and Savage dives on the loose ball.

23rd min 40/20 KICK RAIDERS from Jamal Fogarty.
TRY RAIDERS to Danny Levi under the posts, he just dives over from dummy half. Try confirmed, but there was a bit of a hint of a bobble. Fogarty converts.
Raiders 18-0

He's a one trick pony but he's getting a decent success rate out of the one trick
Nice work by Levi off an excellent fog kick.
