I think they had added nicely to their depth. Will improve from last year.

Re: Redcliffe Dolphins 2024
Plenty of pace in that backline. Forward depth will be an issue at SOO time.

Re: Redcliffe Dolphins 2024
Solid squad. They'll go OK.
The spiral of silence refers to the idea that when people fail to speak, the price of speaking rises. As the price to speak rises, still fewer speak out, which further causes the price to rise, so that fewer people yet will speak out, until a whole culture or nation is silenced. This is what happened in Germany.
If you do not speak, you are not being neutral, but are contributing to the success of the thing you refuse to name and condemn.

Tom Gilbert confirmed ACL injury.
Gilbert's ACL rupture confirmed
Scans have today confirmed that Tom Gilbert suffered an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) rupture in his right knee in the trial against the Warriors on Saturday. Gilbert did the non-contact injury in the 44th minute of the match in Auckland. He will now require surgery and extensive period of rehabilitation to repair the damage.
It comes after Gilbert missed a large portion of last year because of a shoulder reconstruction suffered in the 2023 State of Origin opener.

Re: Redcliffe Dolphins 2024
They certainly did better than I thought they would last year.
I still think their halves largely suck. Whatever happened to Milford still makes me a bit sad. The forward pack is solid and the outside backs are very good.
Dunno, they could squeak into the top 8 but could equally drop back to the bottom 4 or 5.
