Why do you guys bother trying to negotiate with a troll?Regs Revolution wrote:Billy, even you must see. That was a horrible stint by Levi.
When the commentator is calling out a player multiple times for being gassed, you know you’re in the ****
It’s mind blowing to me that you guys think he’ll respond or can be reasoned with

We looked very flat, and completely gassed after 20 min. Sharks wingers are murdering us with cheap metres. What the hell happened? Did they decide to run a half marathon as part of the warm up?

Looking for a huge effort in 2nd half, all it's going to get real bad. The big raiders crowd deserves a come back.

I don’t want to name people personally because everyone is entitled to their opinion but go listen to some Raiders related media and there are some non-troll figures there who proudly advocate for Levi island .The Nickman wrote: ↑April 28, 2024, 5:02 pmIn all seriousness though, who was padding around gloating about Levi that wasn’t either a blatant troll or someone related in some form to the coach?Mickey_Raider wrote:I can’t get over the fact there were Raiders pundits parading around gloating and acting as if they were vindicated about their “Levi Island” bs on the basis of about 3 games where he wasn’t complete trash.

Re: 2024 Round 8 v Sharks: Game Day
I dont know what Smithies has looked like in the last 3 weeks, havent caught up on those games yet
But he was on my radar before i left and remains so... he's a wonderful defender, and he works his **** off, no one could disput that but his attack i think actually hurts us
His distribution game hasnt been particularly impressive and he's got no tackle break/offload ability. We need more from that lock position in attack imo
Willing to give him more time to see how he continues to adjust to the NRL, but i think we've got a very good #13 waiting for a shot, so i dont want to wait too long

Ricky kept picking Croker, Woolford, and Cotric last year who you bagged out every week, so not sure his views on team selections are as infallible as you think they areBilly Walker wrote: ↑April 28, 2024, 5:00 pmDoes Ricky agree?

44th min Going to the bunker for a no try for Ethan Strange. Definitely deserved a try, but definitely dropped in the grounding.

Another half chance bombed….
Re: 2024 Round 8 v Sharks: Game Day
Strange has been terribly unlucky this year
Feels like he gets over the line every week and just misses a grounding

Great athleticism there from Ethan but inexperience at the end. Have to take the loss once the first effort has failed.

It's bomb tries week.... yay..... That one was more unlucky but still... We also always go worse when we bomb a try as we are mentally as weak as one ply toilet paper...

How can you be stunned when it also happened just 4 weeks ago?dubby wrote:Let's be honest.
Sharks have won the ruck. It's stunned us.
But simple moments like Levi dropping the ball and a bunch of NSW Cup players like Sasagi and Weekes showing why they're depth players....plus a backline of young lads..
Re: 2024 Round 8 v Sharks: Game Day
Bit of inexperienced by strange there. A wiser player just takes the tackle at a certain point

It's the senior players letting us down. Strange playing well
But Young and Kris at fault there

Re: 2024 Round 8 v Sharks: Game Day
I agree. He’s a bit of a trombone in the strings section today. He’s quite slow. He looks to pass but the defence rushes up. He then has to run and gets tackled easily as he’s not fast enough or agile enough to be a threat of busting line himselfBotman wrote: ↑April 28, 2024, 5:07 pm I dont know what Smithies has looked like in the last 3 weeks, havent caught up on those games yet

Twice now we've bombed a try at one end and given one up on the back of it. 24 point differential right there.

46th min TRY SHARKS to Briton Nikora. Great pass Hynes, perfect. It is off the back of a penalty for a high shot. 22 points. Hynes converts. The Raiders have never come back from more than 22 points down.
