Blake Ferguson's registration reinstated by NRL

Blake Ferguson involved in incident at Sydney nightclub

Police are investigating an incident at a Sydney nightclub involving NSW State of Origin winger Blake Ferguson.

No arrests have been made but police said they were investigating an incident involving the footballer at a Cronulla club about 10.30pm on Sunday.

"Police have seized CCTV footage from the location and are continuing with further inquiries," Miranda police duty officer Inspector Mick Merrett said.

Ferguson attended NSW Origin camp on Monday where a Blues media conference has been delayed since 10am. The Blues are yet to comment.

How can one man be so stupid?
Avatar Bet - bleedgreen99 - Raiders to make (BG99)/miss(Lucy) the 8. Avatar from last round of regular season 2015 until GF 2016.
Signature Bet - Raider85 - Raiders to get(Lucy)/miss(R85) the wooden spoon. Signature for entire offseason.
Bottle of something to the value of $70 - Matthew Borewood to not see (Lucy)/to see (Piggles) a first grade game in 2015 for the Warriors.
The Name Change Bet - Regarding the three bets above;
I win all three I keep my name.
I win one I become "the Punish"
I lose all I become "Chicken Little"

It will be on ABC 24 soon I hope. It wasn't on nine news in Victoria, instead they were running a story on the Demons sacking their coach. Don't these people have their priorities in order!!!!

Honestly, I'm sick of sacking quality players only for them to play for the enemy weeks later. The club ends up being the victim, and the players go onto huge contracts with other clubs.

Obviously its hard to say exactly what the club should do without knowing the details of the incident, but I'd be looking at all the "non-sackings" punishments I could before tearing up his contract

Unless he's done something that will see him go to prison, we would have to be crazy to sack him.

The NRL has shown over and over again that sacking a star player only hurts the club that does the sacking. I'm sick of taking the moral high ground.

I can also tell you, unsurprisingly, that Cronulla people still despise Fergie with a passion. I have no doubt he was instigated by some idiot/s with a chip on their shoulder

But why he would go there, I have no idea

I'm with Rod, unless he's done something absolutely indefensibly horrible, we need to hold on to him!

Despite the allegations I agree, it bit us on the backside somewhat with dugan (although robbo is going well there) but we have no ready made replacement this time, and the nrl has shown it is gutless to back the club that takes a stand against intolerable behaviour.

I don't really think anyone wants to see Ferguson's contract ripped up or anything like that, but he is a massive idiot who is clearly incapable of staying out of trouble. I have absolutely no faith in his ability to grow up at all. If we are going to continue to keep him on the roster, we may as well get used to this.

Report says he was involved. We cant' jump to too many conclusions as he may have done nothing wrong.

The club will have to deal with the NRL Integrity Unit as well and they are sure to hand down a hefty suspension and fine if he is found guilty.

I am used to it.

TBH, I don't really care. I was more offended by Cruisergate because it was directed at the club and the fans, rather than simply being an act of idiocy. Fergo's inability to be a role model is the least of my concerns.

Need to have AVO's put out on each other... I'm sick of this pair of clowns dragging rugby league through dirt and letting everyone down. Even if the allegations turn out to be untrue, why are these idiots even going out to nightclubs in Cronulla, knowing they will be targets. Especially Fergo given what he did to the Sharks

It is well and truly that last place Fergo should be, anywhere but Cronulla really. The hatred runs deeper then anything we have for Dugs or ever had for Carney.
