Damian Cook out of the 17? I didn’t think he was that bad
Gina Riley: Oh, come on, John. That’s a bit old hat, the corrupt IOC delegate.
John Clarke: Old hat? Gina, in the scientific world when they see that something is happening again and again and again, repeatedly, they don’t call it old hat. They call it a pattern.

Still better than Mamouzelos

I'm thoroughly enjoying their implosion. I'm hoping they keep Demetriou as coach just so it continues and there's no risk of a new coach bounce back

Quite surprised to see Cook dropped. He's been all effort even if he's dropped off a level in form. You would think he could find a spot over someone like Chee Kam. Tallis Duncan not being in the side at all is crazy.
Davvy Moale is a good addition though. Beast mode in cup last week. 69mins, 272m (130pcm), 1 try, topped the tackle count as well with 27.

I'm guessing it's something to do with training, or factions, or EDIT.

That penalty for not taking the drop out in time was pretty funny

Nice energy by Crossland to help get them back in the game but they really needed better direction in that last set.
Whether Cogger over called or Brailey just chose the wrong options they needed to get their strike player more involved.

Was it just me or was Sutton making rules up on the fly? There were two instances in the second half which left me scratching my head. Roosters won a captains challenge for a (non) knock on - which I didn't agree with, but from the scrum he called an obstruction on Smith I think it was and he was well and truly through the defensive line when the young roosters prop run behind him. There was no shepherd or obstruction. I thought Sutton was correcting what he thought was a mistake from the bunker. Can't remember the second one off the top of my head.

Was it the call that there could not be a quick tap after Gagai took a quick tap ran it and immediately lost the ball?

His excuse was no quick tap after foul play but the penalty seemed to be for a ruck infringement.

Who’s the ref in the Storm Bulldogs game? He’s had the defensive line back 15 meters sometimes, then 11 meters the next.

How do Storm for so many years get to step so far sideways off the mark and put their marker out of play.

Talk about something that should have been on the Refs tip sheet for over a decade.

Dunno, but the commentators said it’s his NRL debut. Overall he’s seemed okay so far

I want to know what happened playing the ball with the foot. Seems optional.

Yeah. That’s been a knock on since it was called on Todd Carney all those years ago. Unless it’s the Storm doing it. But yes, Coates is having some game
