Pay TV ratings for rugby league

Post by greeneyed »

Despite the title, trumpeting AFL viewer numbers on Fox Sports... this shows the absolute domination of rugby league in terms of ratings for pay TV.

Interestingly, it even shows that the Raiders v Panthers Toyota Cup game rated 28th for the week keeping company with some of the AFL and rugby union matches!

Great result for the NYC. It should really boost the TV rights next time if they comp keeps rating.

Thats excellent that the u20s are going so well. Outrated a S14 game involving and Australian team, which is pretty impressive.
2 weeks into the season it could just be the novelty factor, but fingers crossed the ratings will stay.

Does anyone know why the title is "AFL scores big time over Easter"? Am I missing something? Because it seems completely ridiculous.
The report clearly shows the AFL game theyre bragging about was comprehensively outrated by every single NRL game that weekend.

and the other AFL game is way down the list, beaten by repeats of family guy, futurama, the simpsons and a S14 game
