Who is "advocating for CNK over Savage"? I must've missed that post. All I see is a lot of disproportional hate thrown towards CNK for simply being named on the bench, a role I think suits his versatility quite well. Not really if you're rolling with a 9 on the bench though. 2 big men is ...

Re: 2022 State of Origin II: Blues V Maroons
This series does have a whiff of 2020 about it. Qld played above themselves in game one and got the big upset, NSW dominated game 2 and you expect that normal service has resumed. But then inexplicably Qld win game three. Potentially the same thing here. By rights, NSW should win game three comfort...

Half with an extra 3 years proper development looks better than half with mostly covid disrupted development? Don't know why that would shock anyone.

Great win from PNG.
Number of top flight players really under performed but a hell of a lot of players from the lower grades stepped up in this one.
Big lesson for all sides this weekend to be picking genuine playmakers at 6/7.

I get the feeling that CNK will be released, and he will sign with Warriors, with Reece Walsh possibly on Dolphin Watch, and the fact that we are showing intrest in Jake Connor, pure Speculation here, doesnt this add add up? I thought Walsh had committed to the Warriots about a month ago? Yep, he's...

It's a rather shallow analysis but we can beat everyone on that run home except the Storm and Panthers. 3 games against direct competitors for those final spots means a big turn around with a win. Souths have a tough draw. I think we'll make the 8.

Ciraldo to me just seems like he'd really struggle coming out of that revolving talent pit. If he had the chops he'd be headed to the dogs where he'll at least get a lot of top down support and a half decent roster to work with in 2023. Otherwise we're heading into the perpetual always touted "...

Luki seems like a middle in waiting. He's played off the bench there and he's got that extra bit of presence and punch about him. Just needs experience.

No if you're at the stage where it's game ready an extra week off won't matter.

That's the essence of Peachy. Effective when it's simplified but when he's required to "impact" or come up with the big play it's very often a negative impact. He finds himself in that situation far more often than his skill level demands because of that reputation. I'm really not a fan bu...

Very odd for anyone to have a crack at the Trbojevic pick. He's the best middle defender in the game and that's why he's there. Not having good defenders there is why they lost game 1. Who is taking those tough carries though? One prop on the bench and one on the starting line up. I think NSW was j...

I think a 20 year old that's playing like he is perfectly fine. Defense and decision making under fatigue will just get better as he gets more experienced and gets fitter.

I thought Fogarty’s kicking game in the attacking zones was excellent yesterday. But he needs work on the other areas of his game. Sitting behind the goal lines yesterday (not a place I usually sit) I did notice it was Fogarty and Whitehead who were getting the defensive numbers in the right place ...

3 Tapine
2 Young
1 Fogarty. Thought his kicking was a lot better and allowed us to build some pressure with repeat sets. Still lots of work to do.

That Newcastle game was a big lemon from EW. Not so much worried about the strip because it's pretty clear what milf did there, but the sin bin was just so utterly stupid from a guy that already wasn't contributing much other than tackles.
