On another topic. How good is Magic Round?
Greatest innovation to the game since Origin. The women on Thursday night just makes it even bigger.
Suncorp was electric tonight and will be for the whole weekend.

Re: Weekes
Weekes looks good but I am not convinced he is a half back.
He did make one big blue tonight. He threw the ball away on the last tackle instead of kicking. It goes to Kikau who passes to Addo-Carr who makes a break and we lose 2, concede 14 and don’t touch the ball for 15 mins.

Serious question - when do they start the 10 minutes for the sin bin from? By the clock on the Kayo feed, I get both sin bins to be around 8 mins 30 seconds rather than the full ten. very confused. I am glad someone asked this. I wasn’t sure of the rule either. The Dogs scored on the buzzer at half...

Just remember this thread when he has his bad days, and he will.
Strange looks a special talent and that was his best game tonight but perhaps hold off the comparing to Daley just yet.
Picking him in Origin this year would be madness.

Re: 2024 Round 11 v Bulldogs: Teams and Previews *Teams p1*
With 27 rounds already it is not feasible, but the most sensible option would be for Magic Round to be an extra round where no team is home or away. Teams would then have 12 home games and 12 away games plus Magic Round. The revenue would then be split amongst all the clubs. This is how it is done ...

I tell ya who should be taking a home game to Brisbane.. The Broncos. Not once yet. It's an absolute rort. It's stuff like this which reinforce how much the NRL take the piss with a couple of clubs. Brisbane also got to play at home v Roosters a few weeks ago as their Vegas game was considered away. That's 12 home games for them (not counting games v Dolphins). We have 11 home games plus the Suncorp game v Canterbury. Because the Roosters put their hand up to take their home game to Vegas. Jus...

Slightly different.
Millie Boyle has recently married Adam Elliott and obviously taken his surname. Tazmin Gray is Jordan Rapana's sister so presumably has gone back to her maiden name for some reason.

I feel like the only valid complaint is Danny Levi’s selection. Because of the short turn around, they are likely to only have the one session so I’m assuming that played a part but my god I want him out of the team. Xavier Savage trained at fullback as recently as this off season and has been quot...

Watch back the presser after Sunday - it was obvious Rick was going to go like this. After a beating like that, he has gone safe. He goes back to some experience. I think it is pretty rough on Weekes the he needs to play half back for us, but our current circumstances require it. If you look at his career: 12 first grade games for Manly - 7 off the bench, 4 at full back and one at five-eight - which they lost 44-12 and were 32-0 down at half time. NSW Cup - ...

That is such a young backline. It is a worry to think how the side will look experience-wise when Papalii and Tapine are off the field. Having Rapana, Fogarty, CHN and - as much as I hate to say it - Whitehead missing leaves us in a hole. I did the sums We have 204 games experience across the backs...

If he has signed with us, why would Parra get rid of Sanders now? I expect he is on very minimal money at Parra and he becomes a back up for them who they are now using.
What is in it for Parra to release him early?

There was space everywhere but Chevy was no where near it. He is 18 and first game but it might be a rough few weeks in attack until raps gets back.
