Re: 2024 Round 11 v Bulldogs: Teams and Previews *Teams p1*
With 27 rounds already it is not feasible, but the most sensible option would be for Magic Round to be an extra round where no team is home or away. Teams would then have 12 home games and 12 away games plus Magic Round. The revenue would then be split amongst all the clubs. This is how it is done ...

I tell ya who should be taking a home game to Brisbane.. The Broncos. Not once yet. It's an absolute rort. It's stuff like this which reinforce how much the NRL take the piss with a couple of clubs. They don't even attempt to hide it any more. Meanwhile, other clubs take home games away to regional...

Brisbane also got to play at home v Roosters a few weeks ago as their Vegas game was considered away. That's 12 home games for them (not counting games v Dolphins). We have 11 home games plus the Suncorp game v Canterbury. Because the Roosters put their hand up to take their home game to Vegas. Jus...

Slightly different.
Millie Boyle has recently married Adam Elliott and obviously taken his surname. Tazmin Gray is Jordan Rapana's sister so presumably has gone back to her maiden name for some reason.

Re: 2024 Round 9 v Sea Eagles: Teams and Previews *Teams p1
I feel like the only valid complaint is Danny Levi’s selection. Because of the short turn around, they are likely to only have the one session so I’m assuming that played a part but my god I want him out of the team. Xavier Savage trained at fullback as recently as this off season and has been quot...

Looking at the incident honestly, i'd be furious if a raiders player missed a game for what DCE did in that tackle But i still wish they threw the **** book at him. Agree. But it is also rubbish that some teams appeals actually get heard whilst ours (Horse as an example) just get double downed on. ...

I just hope everyone calms down about Stewart being left out. As an 18 year old the week to week grind of NRL is very tough. I have no issues with him either being rested or playing NSW Cup. It does not mean that he is not still a massive part of our future. I don't have a problem with Stewart bein...

Watch back the presser after Sunday - it was obvious Rick was going to go like this. After a beating like that, he has gone safe. He goes back to some experience. He knows what Hopoate, Whitehead, Cotric and Guler will give him. First step may be just to stem the bleeding, then we can start worrying...

Re: 2024 Round 9 v Sea Eagles: Teams and Previews
I think it is pretty rough on Weekes the he needs to play half back for us, but our current circumstances require it. If you look at his career: 12 first grade games for Manly - 7 off the bench, 4 at full back and one at five-eight - which they lost 44-12 and were 32-0 down at half time. NSW Cup - ...

That is such a young backline. It is a worry to think how the side will look experience-wise when Papalii and Tapine are off the field. Having Rapana, Fogarty, CHN and - as much as I hate to say it - Whitehead missing leaves us in a hole. I did the sums We have 204 games experience across the backs...

Re: Canberra Raiders make new offer to Eels half Ethan Sanders
If he has signed with us, why would Parra get rid of Sanders now? I expect he is on very minimal money at Parra and he becomes a back up for them who they are now using.
What is in it for Parra to release him early?

There was space everywhere but Chevy was no where near it. He is 18 and first game but it might be a rough few weeks in attack until raps gets back. That left side 6, centre and wing are so deep in attack they were no chance. Very disjointed but a win is a win. Agree, his positioning in attack need...

Smithies and Levi needed to get back, no one near Tapine.
This is what we did last year - dominate early but just let them in a little.

It is a very pleasing win and really does give us credibility as a club. The Knights are an interesting one. When you consider they won what 11 or 12 in a row last year before being beat in NZ, they really haven't been talked about at all before this season. Yes they have lost Dom Young and I also rated Fitzgibbon but they are pretty much the same team as last year. Hast...
