Re: 2024 Round 9 v Sea Eagles: Teams and Previews *Teams p1

Problem is, we lack that sort of player to begin with. Chevy is not there yet. And he has been smashed from pillar to post in his few games. He needs a break. Rapana is injured, and isn't going to last the season as fullback. Cotric? Pass. Schiller? No. Hoppa. Nope. Savage? He's a winger now. And p...

Re: 2024 Round 9 v Sea Eagles: Teams and Previews *Teams p1

Agree. But it is also rubbish that some teams appeals actually get heard whilst ours (Horse as an example) just get double downed on. We all know what’s happening here. Unconscious bias, which the NRL does nothing about. Yes that Horse one was a disgrace. Even the nrl prosecutor was all about ‘DCE ...

2024 Round 9 v Sea Eagles: Teams and Previews

I’d say no chance it’s not Weekes again. Ricky won’t drop him from one chance.

I mean the clue is right there in the name after all.

Young and Smithies should be down in the 3-4 range also.

No way Schiller and Timoko should have the same points. Timoko to 8, Schiller down to 4-5.

Sharks have won the ruck. It's stunned us.

But simple moments like Levi dropping the ball and a bunch of NSW Cup players like Sasagi and Weekes showing why they're depth players....plus a backline of young lads..
How can you be stunned when it also happened just 4 weeks ago?

In summary - lack of systems and coaching in attack No, apparently it’s just cattle mate! :roflmao Structured attack and backline moves are over rated I’ve been told on good authority that there’s no such thing as either. It’s just individual players doing good things at good clubs. Cronulla are ju...

Re: 2024 Round 8 v Sharks: Game Day

That crash ball set on the line was unforgivable.

So is picking Levi over Woolford.

Ricky’s milestone game pretty well over at half time thanks to two major failings is fairly apt.

Re: Eels half Ethan Sanders agrees to terms with Raiders for three year deal from 2025

I'd put 2020 as a par, actually. We should've made the prelims that year, and we did. Probably agree with the rest of your ratings though, Finchy. I’d put 2020 as over. Making the GF was an over and so I don’t think it’s fair to adjust based on that. 2023 is par in terms of ultimate result. But it’...

Re: 2024 Round 8 v Sharks: Teams and Previews

It will be same as last week, Weekes in for Fog. Would actually love to have whitehead - last week was a good example of why we need senior players to reduce the growing pains. Just sucks that our first choice fullback and halfback are out for large parts of the season. Changes the expectation back...

Completely agree with Matt on reasons to be cheerful. Like Matt I watched the game knowing the score, and I had the same rose coloured viewing of it. Taking away the anxiety of not scoring, you could see that 99% of things were there, and just didn’t tick across to 100% and get the points. I thought...

Disappointing. Like others I think the speed has been a huge asset and very enjoyable. Not looking forward to a return to standard programming…

Also a strong aerial threat, and a decent deft short kick on him too. I think he’ll go well. Best of luck to him.
