Why the hell is he made to do hit ups off the scrum, as well as the mountain of other work he does during games? The coaching staff will flog him to death, if not careful...he's still a young kid who hasn't formed up physically yet.

To be fair to Dugan and his management they have consistently maintained they will wait for the new TV deal before negotiating. Nothing I've read in a direct quote from Dugan indicates he wants to leave the Raiders.

Is anyone aware of any developments on this issue? I still can't quite come to grips that a league body would deliberately turn away 60 kids from rep footy while our game is under such pressure from rival codes in this area.

Just got my reply back from NSWRL...same as everyone else, they just sent the press release. I'm going to take one last desperate stand and send all the correspondence to Ray Hadley....emphasising the angle that a time rugby league is under pressure from other codes, we're actively turning kids away...
