Re: Why Corey Parker is off Ricky Stuart’s Christmas card list
Agree it’s a dumb article but is it a view that differs from what many have expressed on here when it comes to recruiting players? Also is it wrong that some people wouldn’t want to live in Canberra, others couldn’t cope with Nth Queensland, some hate Sydney and Melbourne might not be everyone’s cu...

Re: Ex Raiders... where are they now?
Well for some context, Supercoach scores players based on actual in-game statistical output such as: tries, try assists, line breaks, line break assists, tackle breaks, hit ups, offloads, goals, tackles. You lose points for negative plays like errors, penalties, missed goals, missed tackles, etc. N...

Glad you've conceded that. I'll continue to form my views on players performances by actually watching the game, you can continue to form your views on players performances based on Neville-nobodies telling you they were "excellent" in a clickbait Fox Sports article.

Re: Concussion guinea pigs: Raiders sign on to test mouthguard technology
This just brings up the disappointment that nothing ever eventuated from the ball technology to detect forward passes. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I suspect a high a percentage of passes were detected as going forward (even off momentum) and the game realised it was unworkable and the game u...

Oof, that Tom Sargeant (?) really knows his stuff, what a good judge. Yeah, I never really rated him as a NRL level half and I don’t think we’ll ever miss him, but he seems like a nice guy and I wish him well and I’m glad to see him doing a job for a red hot Panthers team as a back up to Cleary He’s just a good back up half Because he kicks well and tackles well You ...

What was he wearing in this dream? As a Broncos fan I’m surprised you don’t remember it. Re: Ex Raiders... where are they now?
Brad Schneider named halfback for the Panthers with Cleary out for a while. Be really interesting to see how he goes in a dominant team. I hope he does well. He was very very good. All those people questioning if he was a half :roflmao Yeah, nah. He did his job. Average isn’t the same as very very ...

Re: Why Corey Parker is off Ricky Stuart’s Christmas card list
I remember a game in the early 2000's, we were playing Brisbane. Alan Tongue took Parker's legs out and Parker literally flipped upside down in mid air and landed on his head. How he didn't break his neck I have no idea. I've never been able to find the footage. Hopefully some passionate Raiders fa...

Interesting little story there about how Penrith identified Schneider as a talent. They played against him a couple of years ago and were impressed with how he handled Kikau defensively.

That was a knock on, no try. Ref really doing his best to keep the Roosters in this. Only piggy back penalties getting them into the red zone.

If Rapa didn't miss 5 seasons of footy between 2009-2013, he could be playing his 350th game by now. Then again, perhaps his hiatus protected his body, giving rise to his current longevity.
Not many outside backs still running around at 34-35 and delivering much quality footy. Rapa is a beast.

Re: Canberra Raiders miss out on David Fifita
I can’t see Rapa ever playing NSW cup. He hasn’t had a Croker or EW level decline, he’s giving 110% out there every game. I feel like he creates and sets up more opportunities for Timoko than Fog does. I’m happy for him to stay for another year, he’s earned it. EW hasn’t.

If we get to go, I hope we don't have to play Penrith. We've lost our last 5 games 173-46, for an average of 35-9. That's no good for the game. That's no good for anybody!

I just watched the game last night and my thoughts on it are: - Whitehead looks HEAVY. I think he's put on weight over the offseason. The commentators remarked that he was out on his feet at the 15 min mark and tbh he did F-all in that time so it's a worry. - Hoppa should never play centre (or fb)....

Imagine how good we'd be if we had Api or Grant as our 9? Levi, for now, is our starting 9.
