Re: Thurston's behaviour last night

my biggest issue with Thurstons behaviuous is that if it is left unchecked then we will get into a similar situation as in the premier league where everytime the ref makes a big decision he has players in his face telling him what to do. The nature of league means it will never get as bad as in foot...

Re: Thurston's behaviour last night

There's no dangerous 'precedent', and if there is a precedent it only relates to a 'detrimental conduct' charge, which was never supposed to relate to swearing anyway. Players can still be penalised, sin binned, or sent off for swearing, depending on the referees discretion. I believe Andrew Johns ...

Why Folau was the wrong man!

Granted I think it is obvious that the GWS signed Folau because he was polynesian and he is up there with the biggest polynesian names in the game maybe only second to Hayne. So they can therefore market him to the islander kids, but check out this footage for proof that leguies can kick: http://www...

Re: Hi.. can anyone help me with a shirt enquiry???

The only time we played in England was in 89 after the GF, we wore a mcfadden jersey it was the only time we wore it but apparently there was some delay sending it over so they had to get a local manufacturer to do it. So it porbably wasn't worn in England, we got the Video easy sponser for the star...

Needs more Matt Gafa. he is killing t in Canberra Raiders cup, nearly single handedly beat the roos at freebody, which is no mean feat. Best PL player of all time. The thing I don't understand is if the match review commitee deemed it as detrimental conduct, then how did the judiciary find him not guilty? was there insuffiecient evidence?..... no we all clearly heard him! Does this mean that the match review commitee are on a totally different page to the actu...

Re: RiotACT - Raiders fans set the abuse bar high

FTR premier league games dont really organise their crowds that way they have a home supporters section and an away, sometimes a neutral section and then the expensive tickets on the sides.... I havent been to a raiders game in a few years for obvious reasons but I would assume they have a non-drin...

Relax boys. He's just trying to calm the Parra supporters down a bit as he probably thinks there's a chance the stadium will be burnt down if things get out of control. I wouldn't mind if the Raiders made a family section where excessive drinking and bad language were not tolerated at all. For mine the best thing to do is target the kids, say what you want about the titans but they have done a great job at targeting kids abd getting them involved in the game. This will obviously have a great flow on effect for years to come.

Just because a player has a few shockers under the high ball it is no reason to hang him out to dry, the warriors persisted with Manu Vatavai and it payed off. Milne and Carney have big question marks hanging over them imo, not because of any luck of talent but they have both had a very serious inju...

Penrith appear to be the real winners and so far this year they have taken advantage. Plus having there two top 4 teams as the dogs and storm can't hurt their cause.

Is it just me or is everyone else just waiting for them to start to strugle eventually?

Thurston is a disgrace. You can be a great player and still have some class like Lockyer, Sterling, Lewis and Daley. Thurston is a petulant little gobshite that shags his mates missus. Big players like Thurston and Smith get away with murder with the refs while Campo says two words and he's marched...
