12th min TRY COLTS to big Atunaisa Tupou, there was just no stopping him. The Colts are cruising at present, well in control. Tre Williams converts.

Colts 16-0

Unusually, the kick off strikes the goal posts and rebounds for the Macarthur Wests Tigers. It gave the home team their first chance, but they quickly turn over possession.

17th min TRY COLTS to Josh Ayres... great pass from Tre Williams to set it up. Williams cannot convert. The Colts have virtually scored every time they get into the red zone.

21st min TRY COLTS to Zac Patch, he just scoots out of dummy half, and the Macarthur Wests Tigers goal line defence is almost non existent. Terry Campese takes over the goal kicking... and he gets the conversion.

Colts 26-0

Terry Campese is toying with the opposition. The last two forays, however, have come unstuck. The Colts easily could have scored a couple of additional tries.

HALF TIME

Monaro Colts 26
Macarthur Wests Tigers 4

The Colts were on fire in the opening 20 minutes, with every play executed to perfection. However as the half wore on, errors proved to be costly. The Colts were clearly the better team through the first half, but missed a number of opportunities to score more points in the back end of the half.

55th min TRY TIGERS to Bryce Ritchie-Manns. The Colts are simply not controlling the ball and are giving Macarthur too much cheap possession. The Tigers with the momentum now. Brown converts.

64th min TRY TIGERS to centre Grant Kembrey. It's the result of an unnecessary pass from Latu and a turnover upfield, with the Colts on the attack. The Colts just needed to hold the ball. Steele Brown converts.

Monaro coach Adam Kyle pushes for Canberra to enter NSWRL women's premiership

Monaro coach Adam Kyle wants the Canberra region to enter a side into the NSWRL women's premiership - with the Monaro Women's team set to meet the Riverina Bulls at Seiffert Oval on Sunday at 11am.

"I know Mark Vergano is a big supporter of that as well but it has to be right place right time. I'd certainly like to strike while the iron is hot and hopefully get a side in the next couple of years," Kyle said.

6th min TRY ROOSTERS and its converted by Cameron Davies. Not too sure if the try scorer as the Roosters have an incomplete team sheet. It followed an error from the Colts on their own goal line.

Roosters 6-0

18th min It was a fast start from the Central Coast, but the game has become a bit scrappy in the wet conditions. The Canberra region had a huge dump of rain overnight. Scattered showers today.

It’s still Roosters 6-0 at the drinks break.

A Campese kick to the corner was knocked on by Roosters winger Jack Frasca... producing a turnover for the Colts in the red zone. Another sensational conversion from the touch line for Campese!
