Nice yard Q. I’m imagining you too have a hammock and dartboard floating around somewhere.

Felt inspired in Casa Del Fui today. Had a spare room full of junk, the treadmill and an ironing board. Cleaned it out and turned it into a little workout room. Got the weights, yoga set up, the treddy all in there with the tele now. Now I can jump around till my hearts content, and not have to worry about trip hazards

In light of today being R U Ok Day, how is everyone tracking?

Personally, I’m doing well. Had a bit of a rough August. Just a whole bunch of little things at work making me question my value within my team, imposter syndrome kicked in a bit.

But after a series of wins last week, I’m back. One of those things where the stakeholders I support lifted me, rather than my team.

I need a haircut, and a cold beer at CVI front bar and a slap on the pokes, other than that , I am noticing some moments of blind rage and lack of patience with work colleagues, my normal class clown antics are gone and I'm feeling extremely constricted, Big changes coming up when this **** opens up.

I’m stable. Dealing with too much dumb at work. Family life is great.

MrsPJ and I are dealing with a decision to jab PJjnr for Covid.

Of course we want him vaccinated, but weighing up possible consequences/reactions.

It’s a massive deal right now.

The wif and I get first Pfizer next Fri.

Yeah I hear ya Q. I’m dying to get a haircut. I’m crossing a fine line between a Hasler and an Eric Estrada.

I’m doing some Quality Control over the weekend. My next home brew is going to be a bourbon mix. So I’ll be adding bourbon to random beers, and working out how much I need to add to my batch for next time.

Peej - how olds the little tacker? Will you be checking with a GP? Should I call the on-call forum Dr?

We went for a zoysia blend. Pricey to put down, but soft as a feather bed and you only mow it once a year. (Lawn in the foreground, cattle pasture the rest of it) Image

Son, we live in a world that has forums, and those forums have to be guarded by Mods. Who's gonna do it? You? You, Nickman? I have a greater responsibility than you can possibly fathom. You weep for Lucy, and you curse GE. You have that luxury. You have the luxury of not knowing what I know -- that GE’s moderation, while tragic, probably saved lives; and my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, keeps threads on track and under the appropriately sized, highlighted green headings.
You want moderation because deep down in places you don't talk about at parties, you want me on that forum -- you need me on that forum. We use words like "stay on topic," "use the appropriate forum," "please delete." We use these words as the backbone of a life spent defending something. You use them as a punch line. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very moderation that I provide and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather that you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise, I suggest you get a green handle and edit a post. Either way, I don't give a DAMN what you think about moderation.
