The Netball Thread

Post by raiderette_ness »

Well, I dont know if there is another thread on this, i highly doubt it. But does anyone watch the netball. The ANZ championship??

The grandfinal is tonight, with the waikato bat of plenty magic(why would have a name that long??) v the sydney swifts. so its in a way aus v nz.

If anyone is into netball, i recommend watching this game as they play so fast and are just so good it will be such a close game with the two best teams playin.

Ness should just have a crack at me instead - I mean I'm a Uni student like Butters, I have long (ish) hair, except I have a job and I don't have syphilis. It's everything a woman could hope for! :D

I've tried watching netball, but until they implement G-strings as a compulsory part of the uniforms... meh, it's just not for me.

well for all those that were interested, just like any other kiwi team, the netballers were so rough... good game but, swifts kept lead of about 6 then it went to 10...won by 9 in the end.

There is nothing soft about netball. Are saying Australian netballers aren't rough?

I remember your coach I think his name is Norma Plummer I forget he called the Silver Ferns "a bunch of slappers" in an interview once.

The officating has been disgusting. I've never seen a competition so clearly and obviously rig the system to bring a dominant team back down to earth quite like Super Netball has done to my beloved Giants

No matter. They'll play their games in the regular season to drum up some "concept" of competition and come finals, my Giants will reign supreme
