Wrestlemania in particular they try and get these mainstream acts.

Most other PPVs have themes like Rock and Metal.

Btw didn't include it in the short post I sent on my phone the other day, the Daniel Bryan/Sheamus match was a joke of what could have been a good match and instead they completely buried their former Champion.

I didn't talk about Punk/Jericho which was also another great match that I was really looking forward to seeing.

The whole set, stage, big screens, etc were massive and particularly Undertaker's entrance was amazing.

Didn't watch RAW but just heard about and checking it out on YouTube. What an awesome moment, the crowd were going crazy as well. I also heard that The Rock has signed a new deal with the WWE as well? Man, makes me want to start watching again...

When's your next podcast up GD? I liked the page on Facebook.

He has retired from UFC.

Lesnar vs Cena has been added to Extreme Rules, this could be the biggest B PPV of all time.

I remember the early days of the Rock, I think his ring name was Rocky Mavia at the start of his career and was part of " The Nation Of Domination". I kinda stopped watching after he went Hollywood and Austin retired.

Watched the wrestling days during the 80's and 90's and there was some great entertainers and wrestlers (my fav period in wrestling), in particular the nutcase being the Ultimate Warrior, still to this day watching his footage I don't understand what he was on about, but it's great stuff :-).

Anyways as far as entertaining is concerned I think the rock hands down is the best at it. I dare say when he left the ratings along with Austin would have been dented. Good to see he signed on for another year.

Not as big as The Rock's return after 8yrs off! Lights off, suspense built up then.... IF YA SMELLLLL!! That pop was the biggest in a longggg time.

With Lesnar, it won't be long before wrestling fans remember how bad he can be in the ring. He's just not safe enough in the ring, injured many wrestlers in the past. Bringing him back as a heel was a great move by the WWE.

Yeah Lesnar is horrible in the ring. He works really stiff and doesnt work all that hard to protect his opponent. Hell, he doesn't even protect himself. Remember at WrestleMania when he almost broke his own neck versus Angle? He's also a complete tool in real life. but he'll make a great monster heel, and as long as he squashes cena i'll be okay. he just needs somebody to talk for him (because he sucks on the mic), wish heyman was still around.

Like Robbie said, the rock's pop on his return was 100000 times louder.

I still think Lesnars was bigger. He does miss Paul E, his promo this week wasnt up to scratch although the brawl at the start was fantastic though.

Lesnar - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-R-Ljwssv50

Rock - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BII1rjoHdeU

C'mon bro it isn't even close :P

I agree the brawl was fantastic, as long as they keep them both away from the mic and focus on the brawling it will be a good fued. What's Cena got to say to Brock anyway? I don't need to hear him blab on about how he's been with the company through thick and thin while Lesnar quit, we heard that during his Rock fued and it was dumb.

Listening back to back i think you are right.

I agree about keeping them away from the mic, unless of course they do sign Heyman. the man is a God on the mic and selling a match.

Also did anyone else watch Extreme Rules, was an amazing event. The main with Brock/Cena was possibly the most realistic match ever. Im not sure what i witnessed but i damn sure liked it.

Easy, Ziggler. And hopefully he does get a push now that Orton is suspended.

Rhodes already is getting a pretty big push, he's had a match in every PPV since at least elimination chamber (might be even longer then that, i just can't remember that far back). Ziggler's constantly fed to funkasaurus and other mid-card trash.

For me

Ziggler - One of the better wrestlers in the company, makes all of his opponenets look good. The only thing he has against him is he has been losing... a lot. And will take time to rebuild him.

Alex Riley - Has the look of a top guy but he is being treated as a jobber, definite potential and still gets good pops when he comes out.

Wade Barrett - Has superstar all over him. Like most mid card guys his booking has been all over the shop. Can talk and wrestle. Pity about his injury because he would be getting a huge push at the moment.

Cody Rhodes - He is in a weird spot, can talk and can wrestle but for me he is missing that certain thing that should make him a tog guy. I find most of what he is doing bland.

Ted Dibiase - Great look and good in the ring. Doesnt have much charisma though especially for the Face role they had him playing.

Jack Swagger - Great look and is really good i nthe ring but has been treated like a joke for about 2 years now.

If you get some spare time check out the latest FCW (WWE Development) videos on You Tube. Some great workers down there Dean Ambrose (Jon Moxley in Dragon Gate), Seth Rollins (Tyler Black in ROH), Kassius Ohno (Chris Hero in ROH), Bray Wyatt (Formerly Husky Harriss), Richie Steamboat and Leo Kruger.

Im loving the new guys like Damien Sandown and Antonio Cesaro on Smackdown lately.
