Todd didn't say that. Way too articulate. What really grinds my teeth is I know the interview would have been more like

Todd Carney's saving the world one scandal-plague athlete at a time. Investing in SocialBase, an App which requires social media apps to be approved by a third party prior to sending
They are hoping to soon launch what they‘re describing as the “Todd Carney feature”, which would require a club’s social media manager to approve any post before it’s posted to social media.

There is a 3rd, cheaper option. You just don't do stupid things which will get you in trouble

I’m developing an App that requires a responsible adult to click approve before the client goes to the toilet or has a drink.

If only I’d developed it when Carney was at the Raiders.

Son, we live in a world that has forums, and those forums have to be guarded by Mods. Who's gonna do it? You? You, Nickman? I have a greater responsibility than you can possibly fathom. You weep for Lucy, and you curse GE. You have that luxury. You have the luxury of not knowing what I know -- that GE’s moderation, while tragic, probably saved lives; and my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, keeps threads on track and under the appropriately sized, highlighted green headings.
You want moderation because deep down in places you don't talk about at parties, you want me on that forum -- you need me on that forum. We use words like "stay on topic," "use the appropriate forum," "please delete." We use these words as the backbone of a life spent defending something. You use them as a punch line. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very moderation that I provide and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather that you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise, I suggest you get a green handle and edit a post. Either way, I don't give a DAMN what you think about moderation.

Kurt Baptiste signs with Sunshine Coast Falcons for 2021

Former Canberra Raiders hooker Kurt Baptiste has signed with the Sunshine Coast Falcons for the 2021 season. Baptiste joined the Raiders on a training contract in 2020 after Josh Hodgson was sidelined for the season in Round 9 due to an ACL injury, and joined the Green Machine “bubble”. However, he was not called upon by the Raiders in first grade this year.

How troubled NRL star Todd Carney overhauled his scandalous public image... as he prepares to become a father for the first time

Todd Carney made headlines for all the wrong reasons in 2014 when he was sacked mid-season by the Cronulla Sharks following his infamous 'bubbler' incident.

But despite having his promising career shattered by a drunken mistake, Todd has managed to turn it all around - and he's now happier than ever and expecting his first child with his fiancée, ex-Married At First Sight bride Susie Bradley.

Former Canberra Raiders winger Sandor Earl has announced his retirement from rugby league

Sandor Earl has announced his NRL retirement after a decade-long career that included a four-year ban for performance-enhancing drug offences. The 31-year-old was not offered a new deal by the Storm for 2021.

"I'll be hanging up the boots," he said. "It's been a dream come true, it's what I dedicated my whole life to. I've been really proud, even taking into consideration the roller coaster ride it's been full of adversity, I'm really proud of what I've achieved."

Carney has a Prima Donna attitude in a bogun wannabe body.

He loves to help people out when the media knows about it, but he moves on when the ongoing role becomes a mundane task.

Tweed Seagulls have announced the signing of JJ Collins.

Tweed Seagulls sign former Canberra Raiders forward JJ Collins

Canberra Raiders forward JJ Collins's departure due to the NRL shut down earlier in the year has landed him back at home on the Gold Coast.

JJ found that he needed to find a different avenue to provide for his family and develop his career outside of Rugby League. With the Intrust Super Cup back on and firing, what better club than the Tweed Seagulls to balance family, work and our great game.

He started his journey at the famed rugby league school Keebra Park State High where he won a Schoolboy title. The Wests Tigers recognised his talents, which meant straight after his schooling he relocated to Sydney. He was nothing short of exceptional in his run through the Holden Cup. Such is his talent, JJ represented the 2016 Junior Kangaroos in a triumphant effort.

Since making his debut in 2016, he now has 16 NRL appearances under his belt playing for the Tigers, Knights and Raiders.

Given that front-rowers tend to mature a bit later, there's no telling just how far he will go and what he could bring to the Club.

An aggressive ball runner, the signing of Collins only strengthens our season prospects. His NRL experience, dedication and training mentality will make him a valuable member of our squad.

Susie Bradley engaged to ex-NRL bad boy Todd Carney after shock proposal

MAFS alumni Susie Bradley is pregnant and engaged to ex-NRL bad boy Todd Carney, after he pulled a surprise out of his pants on New Year’s. Just a week after confirming Susie was pregnant and due in March, the couple held a sweet gender reveal. After Carney kicked a footy and blue powder exploded, signalling the couple will welcome a son, next came the shock marriage proposal.

Image good point Cranky. As an Alumni. She would have gotten honours, if she had any honour in the first place.

I’m pretty sure Carney has compromising photos of Weidler, Dean Richie and the Mole as they repeatedly pen Carney puff pieces or artificial good news stories.

Former Canberra Raiders captain Simon Woolford to coach Wagga Kangaroos after return from English club Huddersfield

Fresh from coaching Huddersfield in the English Super League, former Cherrypicker Simon Woolford will return to Group Nine but it will be to face off against his former team as the coach for the Wagga Kangaroos. The 45-year-old has spent the last two seasons with the Giants in the UK before both parties decided to part ways after a COVID-19 interrupted season.

Gee bit of a comedown for Germ, from ESL to group nine. I think he was just desperate to get out of the UK. He doesn’t strike me as the sort of bloke who would do lockdown well.
