Looking at tickets... only GA available. Who's going?

This really isn't an NRL ground, the NRL should say it's not up to scratch. You can't buy a seat!

It's Campbelltown? You can take the seat home with you?
Gina Riley: Oh, come on, John. That’s a bit old hat, the corrupt IOC delegate.
John Clarke: Old hat? Gina, in the scientific world when they see that something is happening again and again and again, repeatedly, they don’t call it old hat. They call it a pattern.

It's Leichhardt. You can't park there either. It's the worst ground ever.

And the grass is only wet from the spit of the toothless tigers fans yelling obscenities.

The spiral of silence refers to the idea that when people fail to speak, the price of speaking rises. As the price to speak rises, still fewer speak out, which further causes the price to rise, so that fewer people yet will speak out, until a whole culture or nation is silenced. This is what happened in Germany.

If you do not speak, you are not being neutral, but are contributing to the success of the thing you refuse to name and condemn.

Exactly..

It annoys me people whinge about facilities or having to sit on the hill. You're there to watch the footy, not be served caviar.

As long as you can go to the can, that'd all you need

This is supposed to be a professional sport. There are better facilities available at Canberra Raiders Cup games.

So you would honestly prefer this game to be played in a virtually empty ANZ stadium?

No shortage of spare seats there.

I'd also point out our two best performances of the season have come at Belmore and Shark Park so our team clearly thrives playing in front of a hostile and parochial home crowd.

Best performances not biggest wins mate.

There's a difference.

I would honestly prefer it to be played at the Olympic Stadium, yes, or the SFS or Parramatta Stadium. Yes. Somewhere you can actually buy a seat to the game.

I know. But our biggest wins were at grounds with lots of empty seats

I live within 30 minutes walking distance of the stadium but i likely have stuff on that weekend. I was just going to blow it off but im not too keen on sitting on the hill (i should have got in earlier)

It is a massive pain to park in the area. Even though im a few suburbs over id walk or catch a bus. Its probably easier tbh to park in a suburb like petersham and take the bus in.,

I think I'll save up for the finals and watch this one at home. I had enough of **** parking and suburban grounds today anyway.
