I miss Bateman's white headgear - the "Fat Croker" nickname he had for a couple of weeks was one of this year's few highlights

That first try was luck.edwahu wrote:All three were from awful defense.Seiffert82 wrote:Their first try was a knock on, the second was terrible defence after kicking out on the full and their third was after a number of blatant forward passed.
We haven't done ourselves any favours here, but the Storm are just capitalising on some good luck.

What is the obsession with throwing the cut out pass...
Re: 2017 Rd 26 V Storm: Game Day
27th min Threatening from Cotric, but it was a forward pass to him... replay shows him over the touch line as well.

Re: 2017 Rd 26 V Storm: Game Day
All we needed was a couple more players to follow the play and we could've stopped it. There was no one in 10 meters.Seiffert82 wrote:That first try was luck.edwahu wrote:All three were from awful defense.Seiffert82 wrote:Their first try was a knock on, the second was terrible defence after kicking out on the full and their third was after a number of blatant forward passed.

It's outrageous how many forward passes the Storm are getting away with.Seiffert82 wrote:I still go back to those blatant forward passes.

Talent wise we aren't THAT far off across the park but in the 1-6-7-9-coach department, we aren't near these guys

Blake Austin could have the worst footy smarts I've ever seen for a half. At least McCrone had a short ball

Re: 2017 Rd 26 V Storm: Game Day
Forget about the refs. The storm always turn up in defence. Raiders never do.

Coaching is the biggest difference. We started yet another game with our heads still on the bus. By the time we switch on the game is out of reach.
