If any club is dumb enough to sign him more fool them

Its a bit like people that take on cheaters and believe that wont cheat on them. Why would you trust him?
George has shown twice he can't follow a contract yet his new club thinks he will settle now?

It would be like us signing Adam Elliott and think that he will keep it in his pants lol

SBW proved that if you’re good enough you can be a gun for hire who can pick and choose where you want to hang your hat across teams, codes and sports. Bateman is not good enough.

So he had a pretty average 2021 and potentially more surgery? Plus he is managed by the twat Moses. Looks like it was the right call in retrospect even though I was gutted when he left. Less so after all the leaking.

Seems like that shoulder is cactus

Probably a wise move to let him go

John Bateman was cactus by the end of 2019. His 2020 was appalling on all levels.

The bloke is an idiot, but we were fortunate to get the best out of him early in 2019. It really set up our season.

I wish whatever club is paying him money all the best. Massive bullet dodged.

I just went to go and find the article to post it, and realised that the reason i saw it was due to it being posted to the GH's facebook page ImageImage

How's he playing in Super League?

I haven't been following it this season at all, which is kind of odd for me.
Some people talk about the weather. Others do something about it.

Not surprising at all, Ricky seems to be a really popular players coach and none of his former players have a bad thing to say about him. Even G Williams said he was really supportive up until he was released and then Ricky stopped contacting him.

Not well. The comments in that story about the club are strangely at odds with those he was making last year: https://www.news.com.au/sport/nrl/exrai ... c0151e66b9

https://www.smh.com.au/sport/nrl/who-s- ... 57q6f.html

The story also makes clear he didn't like Canberra, which explains the agitation with the aim of finding a Sydney club at one stage.

He's going fine, but not brilliantly.

He's looked better this year than last, but that probably reflects the uptick in Wigan's form, as much as anything.

You're an idiot. You said exactly the same thing about Ben Cross and Darren Porter.

No line breaks in 11 games. 2 try assists. Middling at best yards. Doesn't read like he's going well in a good team. Always a bit of JB not quite in the stats tho, I'll give him that.

He looked pretty sharp against St Helen’s in the Challenge Cup semi last week.
