Covid delays former Canberra Raider George Williams' Warrington debut

A Covid outbreak at Warrington has delayed former Raiders halfback George Williams' debut for his new club. Williams was expected to make his debut against Super League strugglers Leigh Centurions on Thursday, but that match has been postponed with several of the international halfback's new teammates having returned positive virus tests.

I don't get it. Georgie announced he was heading home, I would have expected Covid to stop everything it's doing and accomodate him.

Imagine how long our season would be suspended for if one of our players had Covid?

Warrington will play next round.

Why were you unable to come home? Did you know that it was going to be the case when you left? How were your family going back home? Were they in lockdown for 18 months so were very miserable and possibly putting pressure on you to come home? Did you have a partner that knew nobody and was prevented from interacting with others?

All of those things are relevant to this situation.

And no one says George and Charly have it worse than anyone else in the world - they don’t. But they also have the option of returning home and doing essentially the same job.
Ooooof, looks to me like "Floydd" has a good four or five balls to pick out of his net here.
I was not even aware until now that people had been firing at me in goal..... I don't spend my life looking for arguments nor do I engage fools that do. Everyone is entitled to an opinion and I make no apologies for mine.

I've got great news for you, friend.
You don't have buy it. They don't need your approval to validate how they feel.

So continue not buying it, and they'll continue not feeling how they feel without even knowing you exist.
Sounds like someone has got sand EDIT. A simple comment expressing my opinion, how about voicing your own instead of attacking people for expressing theirs.

Oof Botman, pick that one out of the net!

A comeback from a comment made over 6 months and 33 pages ago. I’m surprised it didn’t start with “Oh yeah, we’ll the jerk store called...”

Better late than never I suppose...

He has a good knowledge of the game, some interesting left field views and is always up for a good stink. Makes a forum interesting I’d say.
