Canberra Raiders' Curtis Scott allegedly involved in Kokomo's fight
Curtis Scott's NRL career hangs in the balance after CCTV footage emerged of what is believed to be the Canberra Raiders centre involved in a fight at Kokomo's nightclub last Sunday.
Footage obtained by The Canberra Times shows Scott talking to a man in a white T-shirt. Scott then appears to punch the second man, who was believed to have suffered a broken nose and concussion.

The spiral of silence refers to the idea that when people fail to speak, the price of speaking rises. As the price to speak rises, still fewer speak out, which further causes the price to rise, so that fewer people yet will speak out, until a whole culture or nation is silenced. This is what happened in Germany.
If you do not speak, you are not being neutral, but are contributing to the success of the thing you refuse to name and condemn.

I’m expecting to read tomorrow that an earthquake has destroyed the stadium and a computer virus has wiped all footage of the 89 grand final from existence on Tuesday.

Should be sacked for not taking it slow.

Perfect opportunity to terminate his contact and try to chase some backline talent

IF he has done something sackable we need to be all over an offer for Joey Manu come November 1 and hope he leaves early.

Let wait till we get more detail before coming to conclusions. The other parry in the fight could have been Dylan Walker. If so a contract extension is on the cards.

Re: Canberra Raiders' Curtis Scott allegedly involved in nightclub fight
This is the state of our backline which we started with this year:
1. CNK - serious neck injury
2. Rapana - great effort but old and slow and clearly on his last legs
3. Croker - see above, medical retirement looming
4. Scott - sacking looking possible
5. Simo - showing pretty close to 0
6. Williams - released amidst much drama
7 . Wighton
Honestly Wighton is the only one above not in a world of trouble and even then he had been down on form.
Just an unmitigated disaster

I think we all knew the backline was an issue but even the most wrist-slashing pessimist couldn’t see this coming.Mickey_Raider wrote: ↑June 6, 2021, 4:14 pm This is the state of our backline which we started with this year:

Alleged CCTV footage

Well if the club has buyers remorse they’ve been given the opportunity to relieve themselves of it

Re: Canberra Raiders' Curtis Scott allegedly involved in nightclub fight
Is this year destined to be worse than 2013?
That year we had:
The Dugan saga
The Fergo saga
The Milford saga
The Furner sacking
The Dunneman saga
The general collapse in any kind of playing standards
We are starting to get a few sagas under our belt this year.
It may be a cliffhanger...

Not really much in it. However given his history it's unacceptable and like bot and others have said if the club wants to offload him now is the time.
Poor timing from him too, with the club sounding out Dufty with the possibility of moving CNK to centre.
