Great to read about and to see the changes in the Pre-season. Love the use of the football and more focus on skills sessions. Of course the proof is when the NRL footy starts. After the Xmas break I hope to be reading about sustained defensive drills as well.

I could see him organising them into groups of 2 and performing a set of tasks until they find their favourite squad mate.

Looks like Elijah Anderson has had surgery today according to his Instagram. Not sure entirely what the issue is, looks to be a shoulder.

Sam Williams is juggling fatherhood and cricket with Raiders preseason training

Sam Williams' face says it all. It radiates pride, and has done ever since his wife Sarah gave birth to Archie early last month. But there's a also mischievous twinkle in the eyes of the Canberra Raiders halfback, who is doubling up as a co-captain for North Canberra-Gungahlin in the Cricket ACT premier grade competition this summer.

"We had little Archie on Friday morning at about 1am so I was in hospital for the 24 hours with Sarah, and then slid out the back door and went and played a game of cricket.

I see the same. Only those tasks include clean his helicopter, make his tea, serve food at one of his elite parties
Feel free to call me RickyRicky StickStick if you like. I will also accept Super Fui, King Brad, Kid Dynamite, Chocolate-Thunda... or Brad.

Do these elite parties happen in the UK?

This was a bit of an experiment with using the new Twitter Spaces, bit of a chat about off season developments and preparations for 2022.

Toughest pre-season ever 2022

Post by FuiFui BradBrad »

Anyone else working on their 2022 chants?

My first one, goes to Get Back by the Beatles
Jamahl is a Five Eight, boy is he a runner,
He is gonna change the game.
Jamahl left his house in Gold Coast up in Queensland,
Seeking Canberra Raiders Fame.

Jamahl. Jamahl. Papalii’s not a threat no more.

GE would go the Matty Elliott route and have them train for war without the weapons.

A new one I’ve been working on.

He’ll do it all,
Everything,
From the back.

We don’t need,
Tom or Paps,
For our attack.

He has no fear.
He’s the one we cheer.
Charnze is our Fullback that we do not deserve.

I don’t quite know,
how to say,
His full name.

Those three words,
Are all we need,
To play our game.

He has no fear…

Cotric looks in better shape than he did when I saw him late last year. That said, would still like to see him drop another 5 or so Kgs.
