Because I have a son that plays and think it's a bad look for the game.
Common sense pal.
Common sense pal.
Avatar Bet - bleedgreen99 - Raiders to make (BG99)/miss(Lucy) the 8. Avatar from last round of regular season 2015 until GF 2016.
Signature Bet - Raider85 - Raiders to get(Lucy)/miss(R85) the wooden spoon. Signature for entire offseason.
Bottle of something to the value of $70 - Matthew Borewood to not see (Lucy)/to see (Piggles) a first grade game in 2015 for the Warriors.
The Name Change Bet - Regarding the three bets above;
I win all three I keep my name.
I win one I become "the Punish"
I lose all I become "Chicken Little"

He is also probably facing 6-8 weeks on the sidelines too.

3 - Wighton - that tackle!
2 - Hodgson - Got in Ennis's face better than Ennis
1 - Soliola - Wasn't expecting that from him. He shone.
Honourable mention to Rapana but lost points for me for the knock on right on the Raider's line.

1. Soliola
Wighton was a tough one for me. Way I see it, he was getting 3, then the fight took him to 0, then that try saving tackle took him back to 3. If he learns from it, and doesn't cost us a match over such stupidity I can forgive and move on.

The spiral of silence refers to the idea that when people fail to speak, the price of speaking rises. As the price to speak rises, still fewer speak out, which further causes the price to rise, so that fewer people yet will speak out, until a whole culture or nation is silenced. This is what happened in Germany.
If you do not speak, you are not being neutral, but are contributing to the success of the thing you refuse to name and condemn.

Yeah Waqa unfortunate to miss out on points from me. He's really the big surprise signing for me so far. I knew he would be good, I didn't think I'd get behind him as much as I have. Bring on Waqa!Big Jack wrote:No, I can't give Jack points. I liked Hodgson (2), Soliola (2) and Waqa (2)

Again, stats mean dick all, watch the **** game, his tackles had no sting in them and his runs were pathetic.... Also if you love your stats so much why are you missing the all running metres stat, lowest of the forwards per hit-up...-GD- wrote:Yep his 13 runs and 44 tackles certainly proved he was underdone

So is Wighton going to get 3 points again for the fourth game in a row that's he's played at fullback??
Don't worry Lucy, he's only playing against awful teams, he's no good, he's no good

Funny thing is Fox were using the biff as the main scenes of their post match highlights too.Lucy wrote:Obviously, you don't understand the whole "removing punching from the game thing" they are trying to enforce.Sydney Raider wrote:6-8 weeks for a punch? He should never have been awarded for it.
NRL and their broadcasters need to get on the same page. The biff is still glorified in NRL coverage and I think with all the feeling against assaults/king hits/coward punches/etc currently that the NRL needs to leave the assaults out of the highlights coverage.
I didn't even see anything that warranted a punch being thrown, aside from Jack wanting to show he won't be pushed around.

I did watch the game and his runs were far from pathetic, he was in there doing the hard stuff and getting smashed. Also when have Frnsoms tackles had sting?Ultima wrote:Again, stats mean dick all, watch the **** game, his tackles had no sting in them and his runs were pathetic.... Stats don't show the "dirty" hit ups, which are obviously going to be lower. I'm happy with Fennos return.-GD- wrote:I did watch the game and his runs were far from pathetic, he was in there doing the hard stuff and getting smashed. I am surprised that guys are discounting Wighton from the points because of the punches. It could have lost us the game but didn't. We won and it was in large part due to his two tries, one try assist and incredible try-saving tackle. The punches were a brain snap of the highest order but the sum of his contributions was worthy of points.

I'd need to watch the game to award any other points.
