My Father In Law is Uruguayan. He talks about a butcher in Smithfield he rates. Probably the same butcher!
Once I can leave the LGA, that’ll be one of the first places I’m heading. I’m keen to find a good butcher for my ribs and brisket needs.

Don't have the app but I've taken to Young Henry's Pale Ale cans lately. 1.3s. Really clean. No heft the next day. Not as sweet as something like a Stonewood or Balter XPA.
Want to grab it on tap when we open up and compare.

Australia’s fattest town is getting a 4th McDonalds restaurant.
The fatties have spoken and they want more cheeseburgers !!!!
62% of the adult population of this town are obese.
I love stats.

Re: Off topic
My nan passed away on Tuesday. She was 82. She went peacefully, passing away in her sleep at Calvary Hospital, Wagga.
Her funeral is next Tuesday.
Nan was in poor health. She was showing early signs of dementia, was a heavy smoker, and had other health issues as well. Despite all that, she maintained her independence and had wit and a strong dislike of Julia Gillard but loved Tony Abbott.
She loved watching the cricket, and reading her novels.
I was fortunate enough to have a phone chat with her 9 days before she died. She was lucid and we had a good talk. I'll never forget that conversation.
At the end of that chat I went to say 'love you Nan', but I didn't. Something told me I should have.
So today, and every day, make sure you take the time to tell a loved one that you do love them. Tell them always.
You'll never know when they're gone for good, and you'll always regret that missed opportunity.
RIP Nan. I'll miss you.

The spiral of silence refers to the idea that when people fail to speak, the price of speaking rises. As the price to speak rises, still fewer speak out, which further causes the price to rise, so that fewer people yet will speak out, until a whole culture or nation is silenced. This is what happened in Germany.
If you do not speak, you are not being neutral, but are contributing to the success of the thing you refuse to name and condemn.

Re: Off topic
I can remember my nans last Christmas. The whole family gathered as per usual to enjoy each other company, eat great food and exchange presents. My nan had dementia bad. And as she sat in the room I could tell she was looking around trying to work out who everyone was. Her 5 grown children, 20+ grandkids and even great grandkids.
She was asking everybody their names. Horrible thing dementia. She passed away a few months later aged 92. Fantastic woman, person and nan.
Hey dub..all the best to you.

Went to see what Five Guys was all about over the weekend. 2 burgers, 1 fries, 2 milkshakes = $70.
It was good, but nowhere near $70 good.

Couldn’t have said it better myself Q. I knew they were going to be pricey, but I was hoping it would be worth the price.. and it wasn’t really.
I’m curious to see how they go. I dont think the Penrith / West Sydney locals will keep them going once the novelty wears off, and the Influencers move on to the next place.
