That polo is very similar to one many years ago.

Maybe about 2013?

ISC sucks, always has, always will. It's such an underwhelming brand that in no way excites me and they have been our manufacturer for too long. They make some tacky and cheap merchandise, and IMO they have slowly cheapened our brand the 15+ years we have been with them. 3 years ago they had the lion's share of clubs over the NRL and AFL, now we are the only one left. It's time for a fresh change and a fresh perspective.

Save the 'heritage' jersey, that whole 2022 range is uninspired garbage.

100%. I'm all for supporting Australian brands but their designs are terrible.

Totally agree. And I think their quality is terrible. I have a polar fleece from about 2005 that I wear at home all the time and it just won't die. The current stuff looks pretty worn out by the end of the season.

Well I like the home jersey, at least.

I've been waiting years for one without Huawei on it. Bonus points for Canberra Milk on the sleeve.

I reckon they could've embedded the Toyota logo better in the heritage jersey without the white background, similar to the 2 greens training shirt

Think there was a similar one in 2012 too when Canberra Milk sponsored the training kit, pre Huawei

Absolutely. Or kept the white background and only had red lettering. That huge slab of red is awful.

If they are happy to pass over the money then we should be happy.
You do realise the raiders don't actually get a say in what the logo /sponsorship looks like? Thats up to the company, its what they pay for...

After this year's defensive effort I was expecting to see a training skirt in the range.

Amirite! OK, not cool.

Nacho… given you’re a graphic design expert, I would like to see some alternatives that you might dream up. It’d probably be beneficial to both parties, in that the sponsor logo would be presented to its best advantage, it’d produce more merchandise sales… and more exposure for the sponsor. Win-win.

I don't mind the black one, maybe a bit busy for me but not bad, I could see it doing well.

The classic era look is always good. Just unfortunate the main sponsors logo is red. I do wonder why sponsors don't consider colour changes to logos on a football jersey. Is Canberra forklifts red logo really so iconic and central to the brand it can't be raiders blue or some other colour scheme?

Toyota is red. That's why.

The logos are designed to maximise visual awareness on various media channels. There is software that's used to track all of this and accumulate sponsorship value for clubs so that they can justify the price of various sponsorship packages.

A subtle logo maybe good for your personal aesthetics but if it doesn't "pop" on tv or online it doesn't work.

They don’t make their logo red on their cars: https://www.toyota.com.au/corolla/sedan

Or the forklifts: https://www.toyotamaterialhandling.com.au/

We aren't sponsored by the car company, it's the material handling company.

Completely seperate entity, with their own branding

Like Hyundai and Hyundai heavy machinery

That's why I added the forklifts. Both companies are subsidiaries of the Toyota Group.
