Gosh in a pandemic that’s run 2 years so far you’ve been asked to have 3 shots for free that probably took a whole 90 mins of your life combined.

Hur Hur, you have to eat food pretty much every day to stay alive. Food is so dumb. They should just make a food you can eat once a year and keeps me out of hospital for starvation all year Hur Hur.

Sheesh

dubby wrote:I'll try and express my observations on Covid as respectfully as I can.

From the outset, the media fuelled a fear campaign. Subsequently people went into panic mode, hoarding grocery items and clashing with each other over things like toilet paper.

This behaviour generally made your average person feel either embarrassed for those involved, and/or a participant in a point a or point b opinion.

So, people developed an opinion on the matter. Most people were inclined to be vaccinated. The government enticed us by granting such freedoms back.

Then, omicron and it all changed again. It's more contagious but less lethal. What will the next strain look like? How will this affect us?

There is so much uncertainty about covid, so much we don't know and this creates frustration, causes division, and people hate that.

So we turn on each other. People assaulting other people, insults etc.

Its really quiet sad.

I wish people could simply respect the decisions of others, whether you agree with them or not.
I doff the hat.

Whoa hold on, you mean the Polio vaccine wasn’t perfect from the onset?

Madness. How did the people accept that back in the day?!

I remember being at school in the early 1960's and seeing some kids wearing metal leg braces due to Polio. Although available, not all kids had the Polio vaccine. It was a daily reminder of the ramifications of Polio. My parents were positive about the benefits of vaccination and I guess it rubbed off on me.

I remember the kids back in Samoa whose parents didn’t give them the smallpox vaccine.

I could only imagine the looks on their faces as I healthily walked past their gravestones.

A share from Facebook, from my sister, a nurse.

The existential crisis of burnout in healthcare isn't just about the virus - it's also about the cognitive dissonance that let's people deny vaccine science but leaves them begging nurses and doctors to use the very same science to save their lives when they end up in hospital.

Somebody in NSW registered a positive RAT under the name Brad Hazzard.

That’s gold..

Apparently you need to give a mobile phone number when letting the Service NSW app know.

Health Minister Brad Hazzard ain’t happy..” the police will come hunting, we will find you” he cried.

“ You could get a $5000 fine” he says.

* Settle down Brad, you ain’t the only Brad Hazzard walking the planet.
