The Canberra Raiders have confirmed that a pair of players on their roster are still to be vaccinated just six-weeks out from the commencement of the 2022 NRL season. Given Ricky Stuart's side are set to travel to Townsville to face the Cowboys in Round 2, the anonymous duo will be on the clock ahead of March 19.

"That's D-day for us, and we'll talk to them leading into that," Furner stated bluntly.

QLD and Vic (ALP) are behaving in a ridiculous manner on this issue. They hit their vaccination targets. They're not going to achieve higher numbers by continuing with this madness. Everybody who has held out for this long has decided they're not getting the vaccine and nothing is going to convince them otherwise. Surely common sense will have to prevail at some point.
It will and they’ll get vaccinated…
Common sense will prevail when people finally decide they're over it and force the government's hand like what we're seeing in the UK.

You’ve just found one of the few scenarios that’d make me question whether vaccinating was the right thing to do! Image

Yeah, delusional if you think wanting to wear masks for the next ten years and getting vaccinated every three months is somehow sane.

Evidently the anti vaxxers will be extinct soon enough at that rate. Leaving only the vaxxed to keep dying from it in good time.

For those who clearly don't have even a basic understanding of vaccines, none of them provide 100 per cent immunity against disease. We already know this right now. The efficacy varies. Some are remarkably long lasting, others not so. For example, influenza vaccinations happen every year, with the latest vaccine designed to fight the most recent, significant strains. No one has ever claimed that COVID vaccines are 100 per cent effective.

Here's some reputable information from WHO: https://www.who.int/news-room/feature-s ... protection

https://www.who.int/news-room/feature-s ... cines-work

That’s basic information that is easy to comprehend. You don’t need a medical degree to understand it.

To put the numbers in context…

We’ve seen 5.6 million deaths in the worst pandemic in a century. Then there are the side effects of COVID, for the 370 million infected people or so who did not die, especially for those with long COVID. These are likely underestimates.

Then consider that over 10 billion vaccine shots have been given. Also then consider that the side effects of vaccines in the vast bulk of cases do not endanger life or are temporary. Many are minor, like having a sore arm after the injection. We’ve gone through comparisons of the COVID vaccines, at length, and I’m no advocate of one of them… because of loss of life associated with that particular vaccine.

But relative risk… important concept.

What the hell are purebloods going to base their whole identity and existence around when covid becomes endemic soon?

Already purebloodism feels a bit passé and a bit 2021.

Also bonus shout out to one of the freedumb rally people on Monday claiming that the thunderstorm we had was geo engineered. Stunned they had time to create a storm when they were apparently too busy shutting down the internet so the Sat Navs stopped working.
