Those two could be better served playing under a better coach.

Re: Should Ricky Stuart have a lifetime contract
It is funny because the standard riposte of the Ricky apologist will be:
1. think you can do better; or (the more sophisticated response)
2. who is there to replace him, there is no one.
Well, there are two rookie coaches who are guiding their teams to top 4 spots at the moment and have their teams looking slick and organised and like they actually know what they are doing.
Their success is a direct repudiation of that rubbish line of reasoning. There is always an upstart looking for their opportunity.
And yet if you had said that we were looking at Payten or Fitzgibbon last year the above mentioned apologists would have still hit you with their standard no. 2 response above.

Re: Should Ricky Stuart have a lifetime contract
I've got no problem with sticking with him. The sad reality is there are only a handful of coaches that are better credentialled than Ricky and none of them would be a realistic option for us. I know this wasn't a serious thread but I think everyone needs to accept that he isn't going anywhere. Frankly if botman can get behind David Furner, then surely people can get behind Ricky

I been censured, I had cutting edge witty responses - and they turned my thread into this - I feel like I’m being pushed out - I thought we were friends - seen worse from favoured pets , yet bully old joshjacksonshead,
Re: Should Ricky Stuart have a lifetime contract
Yawn. Boring shtick is boring.

Son, we live in a world that has forums, and those forums have to be guarded by Mods. Who's gonna do it? You? You, Nickman? I have a greater responsibility than you can possibly fathom. You weep for Lucy, and you curse GE. You have that luxury. You have the luxury of not knowing what I know -- that GE’s moderation, while tragic, probably saved lives; and my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, keeps threads on track and under the appropriately sized, highlighted green headings.
You want moderation because deep down in places you don't talk about at parties, you want me on that forum -- you need me on that forum. We use words like "stay on topic," "use the appropriate forum," "please delete." We use these words as the backbone of a life spent defending something. You use them as a punch line. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very moderation that I provide and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather that you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise, I suggest you get a green handle and edit a post. Either way, I don't give a DAMN what you think about moderation.

Re: Should Ricky Stuart have a lifetime contract
Question- does a certain 35352 posts ( yeah I know right lol ) have a personal relationship with certain moderators , and my friends, whom have stuck by me , and others whom are to timid to post , I hope I have inspired to speak up , it’s not like a fist will come through that screen and find you, fight the good fight my friends, cause I feel I’m getting pushed out now , will Stevie Wonder save me , to be or not to be , that is the question,

Hi JJH, you seem pretty supportive of Ricky getting a new contract. Why's that ? Aren't you concerned about how we are tracking and our performance on the field ?

Re: Should Ricky Stuart have a lifetime contract
Hi Hongers , and thanks for your correspondence, long time between drinks, now down to the nitty gritty-all these superstars ain’t coming , it’s just us , and Ricky who did come , and they run him down , but you and I don’t, and it’s a heavy load to carry sometimes , but of course , you can always talk to me , however my jailers are ratting there chains , they will find an excuse, any excuse will do , because I don’t bow down like a craven wench ha ! I’m not a favourite pet!
Re: Should Ricky Stuart have a lifetime contract
Adam it’s nice you’re sticking up for your coach and team mates, but maybe don’t post when you’ve been drinking. I’m glad you’re enjoying the bye week off, but chill.
Kudos on the form by the way, you and Taps have been two of our best this year. Keep it up.

Just seeing this and either A) the bloke is/was drunk or B) high on crack, the way hes jumping from one thing to another, talking to him self and blaming everyone for imaginary issues is exactly how my ex carried on after she left me, fell into the wrong crowd and became a meth head.

After yet another shut out, Tactically devised master-class from Rocky " The Super Coach" we are now looking like premiership material, goes without saying atleast another 10 years.
