Well that took 4 deliveries.

AUS wins, leads series 1-0

What happens to that ball that was thrown 4 times ?

What an unbelievable performance from England. That’s one of the great 4th innings chases against a quality opposition.

They do seem to have found some good form with the bat. Shame for them they were rubbish out here.

Let's hope Smith gets a 100 this match, he's looking crankier by the day.

Warner gone cheap again to continue the pattern.

Test Average 46.6
Home Test Average 60.3
Away Test Average 34.1

A lot of that Away record is propped up with early career form. Hasn't scored a hundred overseas since playing the Bangers in 2017. Since then his away average is 22.6.

I bet his record in Asia is even worse. Guess we don't really have a better option but not good enough

Pretty simple.
Pitch looks like a road. We left a good 100 runs plus out there.
Swepson is doing exactly what I expected, aka nothing.
SL just waiting for the bad ball.

That collapse on day 2 probably didn't help us. Also Warner is useless at contributing runs in Asia. Useless. Pretty useless in England too.

A 200 run lead... we are in a bit of trouble here if time doesn't run out for the Lankans. Let's hope Warner does something for once. Has burst our subcontinent bubble a bit.

**** . Classic Aussie batting in the subcontinent. Fold like Superman on laundry day when there's pressure in a second innings chase

Good to see this Australian side's 9th best batsman and specialist captain waste a review of an absolutely dead LBW 15 balls into a run chase.
well, I guess you could say that I'm buy curious.

Well.... I thought we batted poorly, but somehow the Kiwis were skittled. Good bowling for sure, but, yuk! Papering over cracks I think.

Leggies get wickets with pies. But that was odd to see from a player of that calibre.
Then he all but walks
