Interesting that Ricky Stuart coached NSW Cup last week as Joel Carbone had COVID. Hope Joel's OK now.

Even with Munster, Smith, and Grant out, watch us embarrass ourselves to a demoralising loss.

I read an article earlier that said Munster was out with Covid still, and Grant was in doubt. Could change thoughRaider Azz wrote: ↑July 16, 2022, 6:45 pmGrant and Munster are both playing thoughFinchy wrote:Even with Munster, Smith, and Grant out, watch us embarrass ourselves to a demoralising loss.

At least we play with 13 men this week and the ref will be listening to our captain. Congrats to young Hoppa for his debut. Hope he grabs the opportunity. Hope CHN does also. Not sure about Adam Elliott on an edge, he's been playing well as a middle so CHN may be a late swap. Schiller's defence is a concern on the wing (e.g. Broncos and Cowboys games)
We have always played well in Melbourne and hopefully it's the same tomorrow. Storm will come our firing though and angry.
We need to play some footy. If we win we are still in the finals race. If we lose then another 10th or 11th place finish. When you look at Ricky's overall coaching record for9 years at the club, not good: 15th, 10th (four times), and now this year.

For starters, Jack doesn't use bad language at referees. He is respectful and reasonable - and doesn't throw up his arms and whinge about every play. The best form of advocacy is smart dialogue. Whitehead with his persistent whining - and being a constant source of penalties (including sin bins), doesn't obtain respect at all from the refs.

They were both still in the updated squad yesterday. So unless they're scratched an hour before kick off they're playing.Finchy wrote:I read an article earlier that said Munster was out with Covid still, and Grant was in doubt. If munster was still out with covid he wouldn't have been named because he'd still be in quarantine.

You can still be suffering from the effects of Covid after your 7 days quarantine, but yes, we’ll see an hour before kick off who’s in or out.Raider Azz wrote: ↑July 17, 2022, 10:46 amThey were both still in the updated squad yesterday.
