Brown has a very good strike rate at identifying talent, even in his 1st year at the dragons I can quote him saying "find the absolute best juniors and pay overs will give you a better roster in time"

He had two great opportunities to implement this theory at the Knights and Warriors, and failed miserably. Evidence at the Knights is he left them as bad as he found them.
He bought through Ponga, Dom Young, Bailey Hodgson from absolutely nowhere.
Then also promoted Tex Hoy and Phoenix Crossland who were dominant juniors.
Reece Walsh for the warriors.

Speak to a knights fan and they’ll tell you brown left them in a pretty good spot talent wise and the new coach has **** it all up
I don’t think he had much of a chance to establish anything proper at the warriors, he was only there for 18 months and due to covid they spent most of that time in Australia
Surely you're not on speaking terms with any Knights fans?

Not by choice, I assure you
But sadly you can’t pick your family
Canberra Raiders on hunt to find new recruitment boss
The Canberra Raiders have appointed Dave Warwick as their interim recruitment boss on a part-time basis following the departure of Kelly Egan due to personal reasons. Raiders chief executive Don Furner said they would take their time to find Egan's replacement after he spent about four months in the role.
Warwick's based on the Central Coast and has been working alongside Egan this year. He's worked with Manly, St George Illawarra and Wests Tigers in the past.
