Pathetic is harsh. He’s wearing 7 but he’s a running 6 or centre. It just has to be passable in that role.
All of his kicks so far have been quality

Disagree with this. Lane was giving him a bit of a bath in the first 15 minutes of the game imo.
I think Weekes and Strange have both been ordinary in defence
The spiral of silence refers to the idea that when people fail to speak, the price of speaking rises. As the price to speak rises, still fewer speak out, which further causes the price to rise, so that fewer people yet will speak out, until a whole culture or nation is silenced. This is what happened in Germany.

If you do not speak, you are not being neutral, but are contributing to the success of the thing you refuse to name and condemn.

43rd min Head clash between Pasami Saulo and Ogden. Both players have to go off for an HIA. Saulo has a bit of blood flowing too. Doubtful either player will be back. Prinston Esera ON. Noah Martin is in the sin bin.

Good first half under a fair bit of pressure in defence at times. The halves need to tighten up a bit in defence.

Schiller has put us under a bit of pressure with some ordinary play. A few bad passes from Saulo haven't helped either.

Not a bad hitout so far.

45th min Going to the bunker for a no try for the Eels. Tuilagi goes for the ball early, after a Sanders bomb, and he takes out James Schiller. The referee said no try, presumably based on the new interpretation. The video referee seems to have forgotten the new interpretation. Bailey Simonsson grounds it and the video referee says TRY. Converted Sean Russell.

Eels 16-10

He’s very ordinary defender still. That’s why Manly turfed him.

47th min Nick Cotric nearly scores, but he loses the ball over the line. It followed a great tackle from Schiller to force an error from Haze Dunster.
