Hosking and Tapine have been outstanding so far.

I actually reckon Levi has been close to the best player in green on the park.

No surprises to anyone though the team is an absolute rabble. And it had little to do with the players there is just no structure or coaching whatsoever.

Ricky Stuart was a great of the game. But he’s no coach.
well, I guess you could say that I'm buy curious.

Ref is having a shocker.

No way that was 10 in the bin. The Saulo no try was also a shocking call.

What a sloppy half.

Good signs from either side, but I'm waiting for Ponga to unleash.

Hoppa is dead wood.
The other hoppa looks good.

Taps Papa Smithies, Fog look rusty
The spiral of silence refers to the idea that when people fail to speak, the price of speaking rises. As the price to speak rises, still fewer speak out, which further causes the price to rise, so that fewer people yet will speak out, until a whole culture or nation is silenced. That is so against Stuart's never risk anything approach though... He won't take off the training wheels.

His service hasn't been bad. He put in a Hail Mary kick on the last play of the half. If it came off it is a miracle try after the buzzer, as long as the Knights don't score no harm no foul.

I think you are right. Botman is bang on, he 100% should be on the right. It's not like the other half is Cooper Cronk, surely Stuart can see this also and move Fogarty.

I've got the impression that if the Knights passes stick they will win it well. I can't see the Raiders scoring a lot of points if they stick to the grind ball.

Papa and Ata were two highlights from the half for mine. Hosking as well, its clear he hasn't yet acquired the Raiders brain explosion syndrome.

Fogarty’s bombs have been pretty good. Nice to have a second rower on that side be an aerial threat!

That’s not the script though Julian. Stop being sensible and analytical. Sure he hasn’t made an error and his service has been crisp, but it’s Levi. We all hate him remember….

It feels very familiar to recent years where you kind of just know that with given an even share of ball and cutting out the errors a top 8ish opposition just has more points in them than us.

Need a couple things to break for us to get the 2 points here I reckon.

More likely than anything I’d say the Knights get one or two and the floodgates open.

The play was to kick to savage off the scrum.. Newcastle read it and that’s why rapa took the run and offloaded. Levi too dumb to assess the new heads up play and kick’s towards savage because that was the play

He has received two, including the one he dropped under pressure. He had a run a bit earlier before that but it was like 30+ minutes with no ball.

Billy, Levi had a brain explosion at half time.

He's been mediocre.

only thing keeping us in the game is the Knights are sloppy

Raiders need to get the ball out to their backs instead of turning it back inside to the forwards every time. Give the boys a chance to make something happen

Touchy got the Xavier strip wrong.

Video ref put through the crusher penalty.

Called two close ones correctly as no try.

It's obvious the tactic is safe football. Bugger all offloads , 5 tackles and fogs kicks .
They scored when we were a man down , through that hole.
We arent smart enough to play eyes up footy

What I've noticed is first 3 hit ups are winger/centre/fullback then a forward

The attack still isn’t asking enough questions. We’ve had enough ball in their 20 that we should probably be up by about 10.

Need to score first in the second half. If we don’t, I fear we’re done.
