Awesome work Savage!
That’s what a winger does. Not whatever Hopoate and Cotric are

Re: 2024 Round 5 v Eels: Game Day
You gotta love pace
The spiral of silence refers to the idea that when people fail to speak, the price of speaking rises. As the price to speak rises, still fewer speak out, which further causes the price to rise, so that fewer people yet will speak out, until a whole culture or nation is silenced. This is what happened in Germany.
If you do not speak, you are not being neutral, but are contributing to the success of the thing you refuse to name and condemn.

There’s not a lot better than Xavage in full flight.
Nice to see us chance our arm to give him some ball.

I love Savage, but he’s got to stop putting the ball down like that…..
Going to give Ricky (and myself) a heart attack.

The beauty of speed. How we have suffered without it.
Re: 2024 Round 5 v Eels: Game Day
The whole rule was supposed to be 'contestable' but I haven't seen a single penalty for balls going out on the full or going 5m, which are clearly not contestable.yeh raiders wrote: ↑April 7, 2024, 6:52 pm That is the dumbest rule …. Total novelty… Fogarty comes up with entertaining footy and shows class, in earning a repeat set.
And the **** NRL decide to give the opposition team a line drop out on their own terms and if they stuff it up, they don’t even get penalised.
**** off.

I got nothing to back it up but it feels like Fog misses kicks to go 8 or 14 up a lot.

29th min TRY RAIDERS to Xavier Savage. He makes the break on the Raiders own 30 metre line and goes 70 metres to score. Wonderful try.

Simi was back 10?? There needs to be more accountability with set restarts, if you replay them at least half are rubbish.

Not if it is a bucket handle.
If it needs a complex repair it is months not weeks.

Fogarty's a bit in the Sam Williams mould as a goal kicker, in that it's hard to explain how his kick percentage is so high with such an ordinary technique

Moronic. I said it at the time, it’s just novelty stuff.Makaveli wrote: ↑April 7, 2024, 6:54 pmThe whole rule was supposed to be 'contestable' but I haven't seen a single penalty for balls going out on the full or going 5m, which are clearly not contestable.yeh raiders wrote: ↑April 7, 2024, 6:52 pm That is the dumbest rule …. **** off.
They should’ve gone the other way. Instead of giving the team making the line drop out, more incentives to get the ball back - they should’ve rewarded the team who chance their arm and risk the 7-tackle-set-plus-a-donation-of-20-free-metres.
They should’ve made it a minimum 20 metre line drop out.
